Strong and flexible
I spent a fair amount of time trying to research which microphone stand to get and i am glad i got this one. It supports my audio technica condenser mic very well. Before, i had a boom mic stand that had 3 legs on the floor and it was always prone to tipping over and I was always having to negotiate around it with my rolling chair and cables. This gooseneck mic clamps on to my desk and is waaaay more convenient. The metal seems high quality. I am looking forward to the convenience of this set up for recording. The 19 inches seems just right as far as length goes from a sitting position in a chair.

Great Quality Once Assembled; Shipping Could Use Some Help
When I first came across this product, I realized it filled a very important hole in my workflow. Whenever I travel, it is hard to find the ideal set up for my microphones and it seems that I have just found the product to solve this. Not only is it small and compact, making it easy to transport wherever I go, itโs also very sturdy and I would feel comfortable sitting up even my rather heavy condenser microphone on it. My one gripe with the overall quality of the product is that it is very hard to screw the bendable arm into the mounting clamp. As I did this, it sounded like the plastic was creaking and cracking, even though no visual imperfections appeared. I highly recommend being careful as you install this into the mount. While I would give this product five stars for the overall quality, when I first opened the Amazon envelope, the top of the product box was completely open. Fortunately all of the contents inside were still in their original packaging, this just makes me a little nervous for other items I might buy from this seller. Since the product works as advertised, I donโt feel the need for a refund or replacement, but thought I would share my experience nonetheless.

Excellent product for the price
This unit is very well made, (desktop clamp is solid and easy to adjust). I've only had it a short time but it works well with my Shure Beta 87c condenser MIC. I just needed a short reach and wanted something smaller than a boom arm. The goose neck moves easily and stays in place for my mic. The connection to the base is solid and doesn't move around when the goose neck is moved out and in (keep mine in a vertical position when not in use). This freed up a ton of floor space in my small basement studio and I'll see how it holds up after a few months but so far so good.

Great for 5 months, starting to flop
I bought this in February, loved it, and recommended to others. After using it for months, it finally is starting to fail. The flexibility and pliability was awesome, but now at the base of the spring, it's starting to flop. For right now I can angle it in a way to make it work, but this is a short term solution until I find a new mic arm. I gave it 3 because I loved it for 5 months, but now it's just not holding up. Great idea, just not great quality long-term.

Became TRASH.
Out the gate, It felt odd. After unboxing and setting up the arm, I had noticed right away a few things. The main thing that concerned me was the threading that attaches the arm to the base- it was loose. Initially it had a small wiggle, so I disregarded it. In the span of a few days, I was moving the arm back and fourth as I used it for gaming. Eventually I then found the whole thing can basically unscrew with that movement, as the arm itself was extremely stiff. With the constant involuntary screwing and unscrewing, what started to appear were little glitters on the base, which were metal fragments. Over the span of 4 months the stand became looser and looser, until the very end where the mount was shredded, and it would no longer hold in any position. Then I threw it out. Not only was there the issue with the loose thread, but various other quality issues, like the unprotected metal mount which holds the stand to the table, leaving a engraved ring on the underside. The coating of the arm itself also started cracking. There were a few minor positives, like the arm being strong, but it is meaningless if the whole product is destroyed by that. If you are going to make it that way, it needs to be attached to the base permanently. Over all this stand was terrible and did not last well at all. I ended up going with the Rockville GN20, and have had a way better experience, as it has a permanent mount to the body.

Very Sturdy Stand
I am using this stand with an Audio-Technica AT2020. The clamp has no issues securing to my 1 3/4-inch-thick desk. I almost purchased the 13-inch version of this stand but am glad I got the 19-inch. The pictures make it look longer than it actually is so take that into account! I bent the stand in the position I wanted, and it has not moved. This stand is a good alternative to a traditional boom arm since you can keep the stand low enough to not obstruct the view of other monitors (if you have them) while keeping the mic close to your mouth. I would not recommend this if you need to move it a lot. Some cable management options would have been a great addition but not a deal breaker. Zip ties do the job just fine. I do wish there was an even longer version of this product!

Better than I expected!
Product was exactly as I'd hoped it would be, it doesn't take up a lot of space on the desk and the flexible neck allows me to reposition it however I want, very easily. Been using it for over a year now and it's still just as functional and strong as day 1.

Quite possibly the worst microphone arm on the market today.
This is the second one of these arms I've purchased. The first one was so bad it had to be returned the same day it was delivered. The components of this product are cheap, made in China, garbage, and I do not recommend buying this product. My advice, purchase separate components, and make sure the quality for each component is the best. Do not buy this product!!

Simple and Perfect.
I tried a couple of those spring loaded ones. None would move the way I wanted. Too rigid and they couldn't suppor the weight of the Schure MV7. Plus most of them didnt have the right size screw to fit this type of mic. I wanted a quality Mic but not a massive above head stand. I also wanted the mic out of view on meetings and streams. This ticks all the boxes. Can move and bend it whereever. Stays outta the way of the camera. Not sure how long it will hold up as I bend it out of the way when not using. So far so good though. The fact it comes with a traditional hand mic holder which you can remove and it just fist the larger pod cast style is awesome.

Very solid build, both clamp and rigidity of the arm.
Perfect for my microphone.
