Sorry to hear that. I am a customer like you so I have no authority in returning your money. The walking stick was used for me to steady me while I walked. I did not use it as a cane. Probably the cane is made differently due to others placing their weight on them while they use it.

Is this the same walking cane now offered in TV ads for 39$ ?

I purchased one from Amazon. After arduous research I can state that Amazon (and other 29.00) offer a Campbell posture cane with a 10 height adjustment. The TV ad and Campbell Co. offer a 12 adjustment cane for 39.99 + S&H (almost $50) . My issue is my height which at 4'11" is still too tall for proper alignment. I called Campbell and could only get a salesperson terrible (real closer) who could not definitively tell me if the extra height adjustment buttons would offer me a shorter option. He claims 12 button adjusts fro, 39 to 50. Very imprecise. Is measurement from top of handle or the grip That is the important question. My cane is 40" from top to floor but grip is in wrong position. My PT says grip should be at thigh/hip position and arm at 20% angle for effectiveness. TV ad says grip should be at elbow height. Nevertheless, I'll try the 12 and 10 and make the best of it to walk upright
