Loved this remote replacement the first month. Worked very well, and pairing with my Vizio tv was seamless. However, after about a month, the buttons were barely functioning. I had to press several times to get any function, and it was not always 'obeying' the button I pressed. Tried new batteries, did not help. Went back to the remote that came with the tv. Even though it isn't great, it's much better than this knock off one.

It worked right out of the bag without ever having to program it. Which was a nice touch. It feels a little cheap, like if I drop it or press a button too hard it'll break but it's what you expect for the price. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

TLDR: This remote, while its volume and channel buttons layout is superior to the side mounted buttons on the Vizio brand remote included with the 55" Vizio TV for our living room, this aftermarket replacement just simply doesn't take long for the buttons (volume, source select and navigation ring) to become unreliable. My review in detail: When we first got it, the buttons and the navigation ring had a good feel and were reliable, in that when we pressed one, that made the change we we trying to get, such as channel select, on-screen source select, etc., but now after only 5-6 months of use, virtually ALL the buttons (and the navigation ring) have degraded so much that more often than not, the choice we wanted to make with the remote does not actually happen. We then have to press HARDER, hoping this will cause the effect we're wanting, but even this isn't a guarantee that the remote will perform as desired. Thus, I now will be searching for a replacement of THIS replacement remote, hoping that I'll find one that works well to start with and CONTINUES to work for a long time. Bottom line: I do NOT recommend this remote because its buttons do not last long and they quickly become unreliable as to performing the function they are supposed to provide. One more thing - this remote also "eats batteries" much faster than any other remote we've had.

Works as stated. No setup required; however, the Disney+ button doesn’t work and they have no resolution as the remote doesn’t allow programming of these buttons. So if it doesn’t work-sorry boutcha. Cheap… and expecting full functionality is clearly aligned with the price.

It worked great when it arrived. Felt lighter and cheaper than the original remote. Several of the buttons became harder to use as you had to push them several times and very hard to get them to register. Finally got tired of screwing with it and tossed it.

It connected to my TV without a problem, but sometimes the volume button does not always work in a consistent, reliable way. For the price though, I am okay with it.

The remote immediately turned the power on and worked the volume. So if all you’re looking for is something to turn your TV on and off and work the volume you’re good, but it will not control going back off of YouTube or anything on Amazon fire stick. The back button does not work and there is no input function and it does not come with instructions to change settings or anything

I purchased this for my elderly father who is basically bedridden. His tv is his life. This remote lasted 3 months until the buttons didn't work anymore. We thought it was the batteries, but it wasn't. The remote was worn out. Its a basic remote with not all the unnecessary buttons or controls on it, which is exactly what my dad needed. I wish it would have lasted longer than 3 months. It connected with no trouble at all, sadly just cheaply made.

Bought two of these controllers for our Samsung Frame as the kids had destroyed the original that came with the TV. I much prefer these ones, they feel sturdier and do the job well. They can be a little unresponsive at times and as others say you need to be pointing them directly at the tv to work, but this is a minor inconvenience and for the low price easy to accept. I intend to buy again once the kids destroy these.

The picture of the remote shows both, Netflix and Amazon Prime buttons but the remote I received today - June 13, 2023 - does NOT HAVE THEM ! Why ? But the remote works well with LG SMART TV
