Amazing product that doesn't take a lot of space in the drawer.

Overall this is a good whisk. It's great to be able to easily change between a balloon and flat whisk. the flat setting makes it easier to clean and store as well. And if you need deep cleaning, it all comes apart by pulling the end cap straight out. It's so much easier to clean than a fixed balloon whisk. Assembly and disassembly are both easy. Be careful to line up the notches on the white plastic parts when putting it all back together. I would prefer if the handle were grippy, like silicone or rubberized. This makes it easier to do the old "circle it between two hands" trick when whipping something thin, as opposed to having to vigorously beat with an arm or a wrist. On the flip side, I would generally prefer the loops to be slippery. These ones are coated in silicone, which is good for bowl scraping and doesn't scratch but also means they tend to drag on the sides of the bowl more than I'd like. I would rather use a separate spatula for bowl scraping because they're much batter at it. Though the silicone is better for use on non-stick cookware than bare metal. But those are just preferences, not essentially bad things about it.

Quand on cherche un fouet de cuisine simple à utiliser, à nettoyer et surtout qui ne prend pas beaucoup de place dans des tiroirs déjà bien remplis, il faut regarder chez Joseph Joseph. Ce fouet rempli complètement son but avec un petit plus en gain de place :)

Genial batidor que además se pliega y sirve como espátula para rebañar. Estaba harta de las varillas de poca calidad que se acaban doblando y rompiendo. Este utensilio es de material resistente y ocupa poco espacio.

While Joseph Joseph's products are very well-designed, usually the build quality is rather lacking (think plastic and wobbly articulations). This whisk has silicone-coated steel and the green knob on the bottom (removable so everything can be washed separately) actually has a metal washer inside (instead of plastic, which would presumable wear down with time and/or twisting the knob too much). Good job!
