Great biscuits BUT SHIPPER NEEDS to provide better protection for shipment -
Effie's biscuits are delicious but must be shipped with protective packaging -e.g. bubble wrap or something else. The boxes were dented and virtually every biscuit was cracked or crumbled. I did not ask the recipient to return the item - it was a gift to my sister.

Perfect compliment to tea or coffee!
These speaker for themselves, you just have to try them. They are the perfect addition to your coffee/tea and come in handy in a pinch if someone unexpectedly stops by for coffee! They freeze well too, just be sure to wrap them in a freezer bag first!

I should have read reviews first...
I must agree with the others that the biscuits tasted stale. Especially the walnut one-it tasted how rancid oil tastes like. I've never tried them before this order so I have nothing to compare them to, but I gave them all away to other family members and will not be repurchasing. I especially didn't like the savory one with the fennel, but all tasted bad to me. I mean even if the staleness and rancid oil taste were fixed, I still don't think I'd like the flavors.

These oatcakes are amazing! I had them at a dinner party and immediately ordered this variety pack so I could have more. The walnut fennel ones are my favorite but they're all so tasty! Slightly sweet, very flavorful and not dry like many others I've had. They're delicious with some chutney and cheese but honestly I usually eat them plain as my dessert!
