I had not heard of this product but received it as a gift. I am very surprised how much I like this product and it doesn't break your wallet either. My skin feels softer and it seems my wrinkles are softening. I will be a user of this product for years to come. Still "Happy"!

Ich empfinde das Serum nicht als besonders angenehm. Effekt ist auch nicht vorhanden. Allerdings soll man in der Regel ein Produkt 3 Monate benutzen um einen Effekt zu erkennen. Das werde ich nicht erreichen. Sonst liebe ich Skye Iceland Produkte

This is the best beauty buy I've ever made - in 2 DAYS my skin is already improving noticeably. My blemish spots (esp from the Covid curse of maskne) have ALL faded as if they never were! The product is dark orange/red & a gel like consistency. It smoothes on easily & soaks right in (it doesn't turn your face orange or anything like that & I'm literally the lightest shade of fair that exists). As for the smell: I was nervous based on some of the reviews saying it smelled "fishy" - let me say I am super "smell sensitive" & I can't stand any funky smells so if this was "fishy" I wouldn't be able to tolerate it. THIS IS NOT FISHY - it does have an ocean water smell or ocean air smell (it's red algae so obviously it has some kind of sea smell) but definitely not fishy & it dissipates after a few minutes. The results are fantastic & I've only used it for 2 days so far - I love it & highly recommend. It has saved my complexion!

I like this as a daily serum, especially for the price, when on sale. It absorbs quickly. Is not greasy and is nice and light. I have noticed that it calms the redness in my cheeks. For me it's not really "brightening" but I didn't buy it for that. The somewhat musty smell may put some people off. I don't mind it at all especially since the musty smell goes away as it dries on your face.

I layer this on top of my perricone vitamin c ester (thd) serum. I like this! I love that I can layer with literally no filmy build up, as my skin is combination and I’m extremely sensitive to having “stuff” on my face, I don’t even wear makeup because I can’t stand the feeling. This feels weightless, as if I have nothing on my face. I’m surprised reviewers say this leaves a film. I also am not put off by the smell, as astaxanthin itself is sometimes an algae derivative, I can forgive a slight sea smell. Astaxanthin itself is more preventative I believe, than a quick acting active like glycolic acid or hylaronic acid, or ,maybe even vitamin C. I believe it PREVENTS free radical/ sun/ environmental oxidative damage. So results will be more of a long-term thing. That’s my take anyway. I do wonder if it prevents my red light mask from working, because it reduces effects of uv radiation.The ingredients are top notch, and I’ll trust it’s doing what it’s supposed to. My skin is light but not the lightest on the scale, and I notice no pink stain on my face from this red serum (again, makes sense astaxanthin is red)— so reviews complaining about the smell and color are basically just saying they don’t like the active ingredient. Honestly, I’m appreciative it’s present enough to be detectable.
