This worked great on 2 stubborn oil filters on 2 separate trucks of mine. I have been doing oil changes for years. Let a mechanic do it and some never put oil on the new filter’s seal and over tighten it😡. But these wrenches make easy work to remove.

These worked for me
I know it's not common to put an oil filter on with a wrench. In fact most say "Hand Tighten Only" right on the filter. I had an issue though. The oil filter on my zero turn mower is in a space that's is too small to get my big fat hand into. When I put the new filter on it wasn't tight enough and it leaked. These wrenches easily fit into the space and I was able to snug it down and stop the leak. I'm pretty sure these will come in handy taking the filter off again the next time I do an oil change. I generally use a big strap wrench with a nylon web strap. That doesn't fit in the space on my mower either. These wrenches have become an essential tool for me. I chose these because of the price and fast delivery, but was surprised by the quality. These wrenches are basically slip joint pliers with specially shaped jaws. The slip joints mesh easily and the jaws are strong enough to do the job. I'm happy to have found them.
