These bags are great! Theyre big and worth the price. I originally bought a tube and tip set for these bags and I ended up not needing it! My friend suggested I cut the tip of the bag slightly and pipe the frosting out. This has worked out well for me each and every time! No tip or coupler needed for me. I used these bags my first time decorating a cake and it was a job well done! Obviously for those who want to make specific designs that involve stars, flowers, etc might need a tip and/or coupler for this bag. But for general/basic designs, cutting the tip works well!! I fill these bags up with buttercream, pipe, then open up the bag from the top, pour in more buttercream, then continue piping. As long as each step is done slowly, you can avoid making a big sticky mess! This bag is very strong and durable. It could never rip on it's own even if you tried! Once your done with the job you won't be able to re-use these bags a different day. It's obvious the plastic would wear-aware over time of extensive use.

NOT USED IT YET BUT I LIKE IT

I bought these to use In Case of Meringue. On the South Texas Coast, we don't get many humidity-free meringue-friendly days. So I bought these (no lie) to have stashed away in case the humidity ever got low enough, knowing my primary bag gets exposed to all sorts of fats. When that magic moment happened, I had these to use for making magical meringue kisses. They hold up well and are easy to attach a coupler to. When these run out, I'll buy more. Butter cream gets slip-slidy on the plastic and will ride up on you more so than in a canvas bag, but the cleanup is worth the extra care in keeping your frosting (or heavenly meringue) where it belongs in the bag.

Now that Joann’s is going out of business i decided to stock up on disposable decorator bags. Same quality item by Wilton!

These are perfect and Wilton is the only brand I will order. They are the perfect side and the thickness is perfect. We have never had any holes or quality issues. My son and I make homemade icing and use natural dyes since he can't have any artificial dyes. We use love using them with the Quick Change Coupler and the Wilton Icing Bag Ties. We keep out icing in the refrigerator in the bag with the tie and coupler closed and take it out and let is warm a little and use it again. It is perfect for use since we just use a little at the time. We kneed the bag before use so a quality bag is important.
