I picked up this socket adapter set on a whim, but it’s quickly become one of the most used items in my shop. Works as expected

I had to remove a frozen straight blade screw out of an older generator. I tried different methods to break this hold on this screw. I bought the adapter set to use a 1/2" drive impact drill to reduce down to a 3/8 holder for a heavy duty straight blade. Snapped the adapter on my impact and the stuck screw came out with no problem. Reason it was stuck, factory used some red locktight on the threads.

Useful for hands on mechanics
