This product works well as a desk attachment. It has helped me to correct my posture to a large degree when sitting long hours was hurting my back. A raised desk surface is a useful pairing with this item to configure a work area for standing, even if its as simple as a cardboard box and a cutting board. Some of the hex screws are not as durable as i would have hoped, but i haven't broken any yet. The treads are fine, but the hexs are wearing out. Adjustments require unscrewing a couple hex screws so do not expect super fast adjustments, I leave mine permanently elevated. The hex screws are my reason for not giving 5 stars. Really though, for the price and function its the best one out there so I've come back and given it 5 stars after all.

Definitely would not purchase this product again. I think in theory it is awesome (hence why I ordered it) and I thought it would be a good solution to my needs of wanting to sit or stand at my desk in my office throughout the day. Sadly when this package arrived it was in poor condition but I decided to try to put it together anyway and just deal with the defects, bad decision. Some critical little pieces were broken, the screws were stripped and the arm wouldn't come down and stay down to go between the standing and sitting positions. Total bummer. I ended up ordering a different one from another seller. I did read good reviews about this, which is why I chose it and may have just had a bad experience; that happens.

So far, so good. It was easy to install although the directions could be a bit clearer. The part they don't mention that is vital is that after you put on your monitor, adjust the tension underneath until it is correct to move it up or down, while staying where you put it. This is dependent on the weight of your monitor, so that is why you have to adjust it. Great price compared to alternatives!

Just finished installing this cheap piece of junk. All the set screws are made out of soft metal, so you get one, count 'em one, chance to get them in before they strip - if they're not already stripped (as two of mine were). The cheap plastic bits on this are easily busted - as some of them were when I opened the box. I have it set up and it is marginally functional. We'll see how long it lasts. Buy something else, this isn't what you want.EDIT: Didn't last two days. Boxed it up and sent it back.

Perfect for what I was looking for. I stack monitors above my existing monitors to make a wall of six monitors and this worked perfectly.

It does what it is made for, but would be much better if it was of better quality. I have 2 of these for work so I can stand when I get tired of sitting. They raise and lower just fine. The main issue I have with them is keeping the monitors level. They tend to want to get a little crooked, which may require some extra adjustments to the spring screws in the back of the monitor. They are way cheaper than the alternatives but the low quality shows and I think they should be a bit cheaper in price. That being said I don't regret having them. They have freed up lots of desk space and it's nice to get off my butt at work.

Works perfect. Am able to raise my monitor enough that I can stand at my desk while working. Great product.

This thing is awesome. I'm 6 feet tall and it works perfect for me, both sitting down and standing up. Couldn't find another product on the market that does the same thing. Would highly recommend.
