EDIT: While traveling to the East Coast, I tried to use the accompanying earphone jack so my toddler can listen quietly on the plane - the jack wouldn't come out anymore! It twisted broken while my husband and I tried remove it. Needless to say the "waterproof" case was now just a case with a prong sticking out of it. And of course we couldn't let our son continue using it without fear of getting stabbed or putting the prong in his mouth. So I just bought another case, LOL! I mean it's only $12. It worked perfectly as a waterproof aka Child Proof case up until we used the headphone jack. Lesson learned. Time to go blue tooth. Still a good case.So far so good. I bought this case specifically to protect my old iPhone 5 that I use for my toddler. He's not too into electronics which I'm glad for but he will sit to watch Sesame Street and this helps! He's learning to grasp and swipe left and right; he likes to "call Dada" on the phone and has fun playing some ABC learning games with his older sister - who shows him how to match colors and shapes. The case works so far and protects the phone from drool and crumbs and oatmeal etc. it's easy to clean off and the wristlet makes it easy for me to carry to and from the car while lugging around a toddler, groceries and the like. I never let him use the phone unsupervised. And obviously, this case isn't made for children in mind. The rubber plug for the headphone and charge port can be pulled out, though it takes a little more effort than a toddler can muster, it's still possible for him to pull it out. I'm just putting that out there in case another parent wants this case for their old phone for a child to use.He has dropped it a few times already but from his standing position that's barely a foot or so off the ground so I can't speak to the case's durability from a higher drop.Additionally, I appreciate that the case doesn't add any bulkiness to the phone so it still feels streamlined handheld. If I had to continue using the 5, I wouldn't mind using his case.

Once I made the decision to get an iPhone, I was worried about how fragile they are. I use my phone as my camera and so a case with a wrist strap is essential. I also drop my phone sometimes. This is very good case. It passed the waterproof test with flying colors, it seems like it offers decent protection from falls (although I haven't dropped it yet), it was easy to install and looks sharp. All of the switches work fine, and the mic and speaker work well. The reason I deducted a star is because the touch screen responsiveness is not great when you are trying to touch something near the very edge of the screen. This is a pretty minor flaw, however, and overall I am very pleased with this case especially for the price!UPDATE - I've had the case now for a couple of months, and have dropped my phone a few times already - once while standing in a parking lot and so far, so good! The case seems to be protecting my phone well so far.

This case was what you get for the money. I had a previous LifeProof case which was awesome but my phone is due to expire soon and I just wanted a cheap case to get me by for a little while longer. The color is accurate. The things I don’t like are the “dial”to turn your ringer on and off. It’s hard to turn sometime and I really have to use my fingernail, you can’t really grab it with your fingers. Sometimes I can’t turn it back on without getting annoyed. The other thing is the flap to block the charger hole at the bottom. I don’t imagine it will last long as it is always connected and not removable therefore it bends when you have it open. Top and bottom buttons align well and so far it has kept me from damaging my phone when dropped so that’s the main concern. Again, for the price, not a bad case. Probably will go back to the lifeproof or otter box when I upgrade my phone.

I'm writing this review after watching my phone fall over a hundred feet onto an escalator and finding it without a scratch!!!! The case went flying off the phone on impact but my screen is completely fine. There's minor damage to the case so I will need to get a new one, but a small price to pay for saving myself from a shattered phone.In general, I've been incredibly impressed with this case, which was 1/8 the price of the Lifeproof case that fell completely apart after only about 8 months of use. I'm only two months into this case, but that means it's already a better deal than Lifeproof. I love the knob that turns the ringer on and off--much less likely to fall apart than other similar case options. I'm less wild about the plastic that covers the headphone and charger holes because I don't quite trust it to be waterproof and am worried that after too much use I'll rip it off on accident! It's not overly bulky like Otterbox, but still serves that protective function beyond just being waterproof. Overall, I'd highly recommend this case--incredible price for a great, functional, strong case!

I was initially sceptical when I opened the box. having had an earlier model which lasted well. This one though is slimmer nicer to hold and seems robust.The plug for the bottom charging point however seems that it may be fragile and break easier that the older model which lasted me around a year.Time will tell but well made and will protect my iphone from most things.

Does wat it says it does!Tested waterproof ability and it worked perfectly.Feels robust without being too big and cumbersome.Happy with my purchase.

Great case, well thought out and very protective of the phone. The charger plug can be hard to dig out but they have thought of every detail, providing a little tool to do this with. You can use your thumb print and everything even though the phone is completely covered! Would recommend buying.

Not had the courage to put it in water yet but it is definitely shock proof (tried and tested). Looks smart and user friendly. Very pleased with company and product

Just wanted to make other purchasers aware that the white bit on the face is inbuilt, not that a white phone is incased in it as I assumed....Caught me out, but a great product.

Fast delivery, good strong case... have had a few people saying the can’t hear me well tho... does affect quality of photographs. That being said I’m useless with phones so this is a great product for me.

Simple case that covers and fits the phone well, the dial for silent is a bit of a fiddle if you have to silence your phone and the cover over charge port is tough to pull open, this does mean it fits well so should keep dust out. Haven’t tried waterproof side but it’s keeping out the dust and not dropped it but wary as it’s a fairly slim case but seems tough
