This hose took the place of a 40 year old metal hose that was starting to crack and leak gas. It fit perfectly but needed some finagling to get the threads to sit just right (not too much but just enough to get a nick on my hand. Seems very sturdy and seated perfectly on the gas line and the dryer.

An hour after it arrived, I had it installed and the stove back again the wall. I had one crescent wrench, count thave used another - pipe wrench worked cautiously.

Easy to install and just the right length for my stove. Do yourself a favor and use pipe dope instead of tape.

When my installers arrived, they opened the kit and there was no sealant or tester in the packaging. I'm sure this isn't common, but it normally would have caused an issue, as the installers HAD to have this in order to install my range. They had their own kit in the truck that I had to purchase. I now have to pay 33.99 instead of the 20.78 from Amazon. However, Amazon was more than gracious enough to take the remnants of the kit back and refund me. As for the product itself, it's a stainless flexible hose and is as pictured. It seems very nice quality and I would give it another shot again, should I need another stove install.

No problem with the flex pipe. The pipe sealer and leak check were cracked open in the bag, Used my own.

I'm not sure how they measure the length, but this was much shorter than the true 48 inch connecter it replaced. Maybe they include the length of the 3 fittings in the bag? With the range pulled out, with the back in line with the cabinet fronts, this connector was pulled nice and tight and had little room for sliding the range right or left. The bag was marked 48" but I'd say this was more like a 36".

Not a lot to say about this except that it's good quality for the price. Everything fit fine with no leaks, and that's really all I need it to do. Would buy again.

Picked up an Ikea Lagan gas range to replace one that failed (it was cheap and looks solid), used this connection kit to attach to house gas. Easy connection first try no leaks.Put compound on the thread of the back of the flange adapters (that connect to the gas pipe or the appliance inlet - never the flange itself, it doesn't need it) and connect the flex hose up.Use the leak testing solution on the threads to ensure no bubbles from leaking gas. No gas noise and ample gas supply to stove for burners and oven. Awesome.

Hooked up my new stove. Never dealt with natural gas connections but this product made it so much easier. Good price compared to home improvement stores. Comes with everything needed.

Works as expected for our gas range. I'd prefer it to be yellow, but my gas inspector wasn't too bothered.
