As expected

Unlike most puzzles, this is made of natural wood with burn etching or stamping (I'm not certain). This doesn't have an overwhelming amount of colors to look at. I like looking at this puzzle as an adult. It's a great toy for kids. The planets have designs on them and each is a different size to help with puzzle completion. The planet name is on the back of each puzzle piece. I like that they included Pluto but not as a moveable planet piece. The puzzle is nicely made, thick, and natural. It came wrapped in plastic within a box and would make a nice gift.

I ordered two of the solar system model boards. One was a gift and one was for my child. When the products arrived, both were in a colorful cardboard box. When I opened the items to see the contents inside, only one was wrapped in plastic. The other package was not in plastic and had four pieces missing. I'm grateful I opened them up to check or I might have given a gift with parts missing.

This puzzle is the perfect addition to our Montessori shelf work. It came well-packaged - the puzzle itself is wrapped in plastic to protect the puzzle and pieces, and then it placed into a box that it fit into perfectly to minimize any moving or shuffling during transit. It has a nice weight to it and feels durable and high quality. The planets all have the name written on the back that matches the name on the location on the puzzle it fits into, which is a good control. Both my 2 yo and 4 yo really enjoy it so far, and we will pair it with our solar system cards.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves space so I got her this wooden board to help teach her and to play with. She calls them cookies, (we correct to planet cookies) but she knows most of their names by their shapes and sizes! Even if they’re “cookies” she is learning the planet names so I call that a win. She loves carrying them around. The board and each of the planet are so well made, it will continue to stay nice for when she’s old enough to use it as teaching material!

This is a nice size puzzle board and good size pieces. All the wood edges are super smooth. The details are fantastic. The quality is superb.
