Nice Device
This is a very unique internet radio for a very reasonable price, less then $100. The radio requires WIFI and will not work otherwise. Totally controlled by a touch screen with an android operating system, very similar to a smart phone or a tablet computer, including a virtual keyboard where necessary. You download from a list of either streaming apps or internet radio apps. The radio includes an access to your local weather as well. The radio has no native services of streaming or native list of internet radio stations. You depend solely of the downloaded apps.If you wish to upload your own music you may to so with a file system. Also, you may set alarms, and there is an option for audio books. The sound quality is decent with two speakers and a woofer. (BTW the woofer is exposed to the bottom of the radio, you need to be very careful not to damage it). Since the entire radio depends on apps you shouldn't be surprise by a nauseating amount of ads...and suggestion to upgrade to a better and costly version of said apps... The documentation is so so.. for example there is no word of a built in battery. How long will it last? and how long will it take to charge it? As I see there is a Bluetooth option as well. The screen's resolution is 272 X 480, not very crisp at all...However with all the cons its a good set. I'm considering buying another set for the quest room. You will fin the manual on Sungale web site.

Died after 90 days
Great expectations, has great sound - even a little bass from the bottom speaker. Within a couple of weeks the ads on Iheart radiobegan to be problematic- I don't mind one ad but several can be a bit much at once. Hard to change stations with out a stylus. All surmountable problems, but after just 3 months the radio refused to load the wi-fi signal, so the unit SITS THERE looking at me. Bummer !

Complex Interface - Strong B+ Performance
Folks,This seems like a pretty good little radio. Out of the box. It comes with Pandora, IHeart Radio, Spotify and TuneIn pre loaded. You can choose an additional 10 stations on either the streaming internet radio side. Those seem to be limited to the installed base but you might be able to hack this a little with the android settings.Sound delivered is bigger than the radio's size - not Bose or JBL good, but pretty OK. Seperate subwoffer a plus. Footprint is relatively small and fits easily on the nightstand or desk corner. So why only 4 stars? Because this internet radio is for my 90 year old mother so she can listen to stations "from the old country". Since the radio has no presets and a diverse user interface (due to the various android apps) it is somewhat difficult to learn to control for someone without an intermediate level of android familiarity. Buttons are also somewhat different from a standard volume knob and select knobs.. It does seem to have Google voice to control access but that interface seems limited to "Open xxx app" and commands like that. Because of the UI, I returned it and got a Grace Digital with big knobs and presets.Otherwise, good for $100 or so. I'd give it a B+ overall.Fargo.

Nice Internet Radio - Sadly Had to Return
Although I had to return the radio (refurbished model - Android OS went into a continuous reboot after ten days of use) I give it a four because it is a perfect bedside internet radio. Nice design, easy to use, with reasonable audio output. Maybe a bit over-priced compared to other available models out there. Also, 1/2 GB of Google bloatware will slow down functionality considerably.

The sound quality was pretty great! However we decided to return the item because I think it may have been just a poorly made one. The button on the bottom broke even though we didn't push hard. I wish that there was a way to download your own apps on the tablet part instead of just using the music apps they give you. Maybe there was a way but we just couldn't find it.

Don't buy
Absolute crap. Worked for about a month but required constant restarting bc the volume wouldn't work. Then it started needing restarts to work at all. Then it crapped out completely, waste of $100.

We are really happy with this purchase
I ordered this radio on a Saturday evening and it arrived Monday morning! If you are familiar with Android operating systems on phones, this is very easy to set up. Otherwise the instructions are clear but you may not be immediately familiar with how the screens and settings work. We were particularly interested in the "TuneIn" app, which is not on the home screen as the radio arrives from the factory, but it was easy to download and install. Many other apps are listed on the screens where you can choose what you want to install. The music quality is excellent for a device this small. The radio has great styling and is attractive whether turned on or off. We have the radio in the kitchen near a microwave oven and far from our WiFi router-- the radio does not work there when the microwave is running.
