Rhino products are sensational. I ordered the stainless steel version and this thing is 100 times more rugged than what came with my trailer. The push release bottom also tightens the strap so you only have to give it 1 or 2 ratchets. This thing is awesome. I did give them a coat of marine corrosion inhibitor. Will see how long they last but the quality is superb.

I’ve been using the Rhino USA Boat Trailer Straps for a few months now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. These things are built tough—2 inches wide and 48 inches long, with heavy-duty stitching and solid hardware. I use them to secure my 22 foot pontoon boat during transport, and they haven’t let me down once. The adjustable design makes them super easy to tighten down, and they don’t loosen up like some other straps I’ve used in the past. What really stood out to me is the peace of mind they give while trailering. No bouncing, no shifting—just a secure hold every time. They also work great for my brother’s jet ski. If you need reliable transom tie-downs, I highly recommend giving these a shot.

Good quality strap. Hooks look like they will not weather terribly. Snaps easily and holds tension. Just long enough and love the velcro for the extra length. A bit pricey tbh fir what it is. It's made in China still which is fine but for the price I'd expect it to be a little. Cheaper tbh

Giving these 5 stars for the quality of them. They are about a foot bigger than what I need for my boat so I have to use the frame of the trailer not the hooks to make these work. Not sure if that’s my bad for not knowing there is a size difference or if my boat just has special needs that I didn’t know about. Either way nice straps .Velcro really holds the excess strap in place. Nothing dragging on the ground behind my boat while towing. Well, no straps anyways.

I had ordered this last night and had it was delivered this morning. Great job Amazon! I installed the straps this morning. It came with two straps and two sets of stainless steel bolts, washers and locknuts. I used a 17 mm wrench on locknut and a 14mm socket on ratchet wrench on bolts. I used the holes in my trailer that was there for my previous straps. I was done the less than 30 minutes. I was very impressed by the quality of the product and how it operates. A good USA made product with limited lifetime warranty. See video on how easy they are to use!

Purchased the powder coated version 2 years ago, and the gears, springs, and assembly got extremely rusted and corroded during that time. I did use this in a saltwater environment, but the product advertisement at that time stated that the powder coated version would hold up to the marine environment. Buying the powder coated model instead of stainless steel was a big mistake. Powder coated version began rusting almost immediately, and completely failed after 2 years. I thoroughly washed these with freshwater after every trip. I removed these from my trailer today, and went with a different brand that is stainless steel (BoatBuckle G2 Stainless Steel). I'm still planning on spraying the gears of the new tie down with a waxy spray coating to prevent rust and corrosion (Yamalube Yamashield). I like the new tie down vs the Rhino model, because the release mechanism is easier to engage and the strap auto retracts when released. The Rhino tie down doesn't auto retract ... instead you have to pull the gear handle and keep cranking the gear until fully retracted. It takes 30 seconds or so to do it (on each side) and it makes a lot of noise. New straps are a breeze and much quicker. Also, the release mechanism on the Rhino tie down was a bit clunky. You have to press the green button and push in the gear handle all the way down, then it releases the strap. However, sometimes it was a hard to get it to release. The new BoatBuckle tie-down has big Release buttons and they are easy to push down and release the strap.

These Rhino USA straps are awesome! Super heavy-duty, easy to tighten, and they hold my boat securely during transport. I love the quality and how reliable they feel compared to cheaper straps I’ve used before. Definitely worth it for peace of mind on the road!
