Nicely featured with soft grip and has a stylus for touch screen use. The description says 1.0mm tip but feels more like a fine point pen. Gel ink is smooth and colorful. The blue ink is dark blue. The pen itself is very light weight. Overall, one of the more full-featured multi-color pens, but my preference is the Papermate InkJoy 1.0m gel ink pen.

I had been buying these pens with the four colors and the stylus rubber tops for about three years now from Dollar Tree for $1.25. But for the last 6 to 7 months they haven't been carrying them, and they also unaware of when they will have them back. They are perfect for me to use on my job since I need to run a stylus on my ipad, and I need at least two different colors to take notes (blue and red), and then I go to the black in lieu of the blue, when the blue runs out. I never use the green color, but I agree with what other reviewers have said, it is very light in color and hard to see, for older users. There is a Bic version of this pen but it cost about $7.00 and I have yet to try it (I would hate to lose a $7.00 pen). I bought the four pack of this listing, to make sure they are compatible with the ones I have been using, and the price came out to about $1.75 each. I can say they are identical to the ones I had been using, possibly with a different company name, as I'm sure that multiple company Chinese brands runoff of the same mold. Do they feel cheap? Maybe. But they serve my purpose and I put them through a prettier rigorous workout every day on the road. Does the pocket clip break off? Yes, on about 50% of them, but it doesn't affect my usability. Does the plastic on the sides of the pen crack the way I've seen some pictures on here? I have never experienced that in the three years I've been using these pens, and I have gone through about 25 or 30 of them. I can tell you that using the blue color everyday makes it last me about 3 to 4 weeks before it runs out, and then I go to the black color. Since I use the red color less it usually lasts me about the total 6 to 8 weeks that the blue and black last me. The rubber tip stylus on the top starts going soft at about the 4 to 5 week mark, but it is still usable until the ink runs out and I toss the pen out. The description on the box says that these are refillable, I don't know how or where you would try to do that, but they are basically disposal for $1.75, and the rubber tip feature won't be usable if you keep refilling the ink, because it will have gone completely soft. Now that I know that these are the ones I'm looking for, I will purchase the higher quantity boxes which will drive the price per pen down more. No more searching through the Dollar Stores for me.

So far I am VERY PLEASED with these pens. I color code events depending on event type & location and have been using the old Bic brand 4-color for years. However, the Bic brand pocket clip is cheap plastic and does hold the pen in place in my shirt pocket, pant cargo pocket, or my computer bag pocket. This pen has a metal clip that looks more professional (I often wear suits or uniforms) and holds the pen nicely. Pen writes with a finer line than the Bic. Will keep you posted re: refill longevity and performance as I use it.

You get what you pay for. Not the best but not the worst pens. One broke the first time I used it. The others have held up so far. Write pretty smooth and light weight.
