How comethe customer photos show this product looking like a cheap windbreaker and the advertisment photos look like its a hefty multilayered cover? F

It’s lightweight but strong. Mine has been fantastic through sone, ice and 50 mph winds and still looks new. I love it and am ordering 2 more for putting over other items! Like my snowblower!

Is this cover water proof?

Well, it is plastic-like, and mine is on my grill outside. Not sure it is water “proof” but yes, I am satisfied with mine.

Will this cover remain looking black ? I purchased a Nexgrill cover last year and it faded quickly.

I think it depends where you live. I live in mid-west and the hot dry summers faded mine in about 6 months. But for the price this is one of the best heavy duty covers. Would love to find one myself that never fades if it exists.
