One of the best masticating juicers on the market
This is my first juicer which I elected over the Breville juicers because of the better juice quality. People say that the Breville's are much faster than masticating juicers like this one, but this juicer juices very fast because of the extra large 3.5 inch opening. The large opening lets it handle apples cut into one quarters and it sucks the apple pieces down fast. It comes with two mesh filter baskets, one with long narrow slots and one with a fine mesh. The slotted filter basket is very easy to clean and extracts almost as much juice as the mesh filter basket. The mesh filter basket needs to the scrubbed a lot with the included toothbrush type tool to get all of the fruit or vegetable residue out. The slotted filter basket requires very little scrubbing to get all the residue out. Highly recommended.

Truly impressed with this machine and happy with my decision to purchase this product.
Truly impressed with this machine, to the extent that i am giving 5 stars, which i rarely do. I dont write reviews too much unless i am dis-satisfied (so that i can warn other customers) or truly impressed, such as in this case. Without boring you any further, let me come to the point. My friends, i have researched for 2-4 weeks, looking for a decent juicer to purchase and i have surfed the web, watched numerous youtube videos, read reviews on Amazon, etc etc. The first and foremost struggle was to choose which type of juicer to buy? I have looked at slow masticating juicers, vertical juicer and the centrifugal juicer. All these type of machines have a unique quality to them, for example, slow masticating juicers are good for green leafy vegetables, gives the best yield, taste, without oxidizing the juice and very little pulp. Whereas, the vertical juicer is good for green leafy AND crunchy/solid fruits or vegetables, while giving a decent yield without oxidizing the juice. The vertical juicer however gives a bit more pulp but much faster than the slow masticating juicer. The best thing about a vertical juicer is that, there is a variety of this juicer on the market, which falls between the slow masticating juicer and the centrifugal juicer. The slow juicer is over $200+, while vertical juicer ranges from $150-$400+, and the centrifugal is under $200. The vertical juicer was a good option in terms of getting a non-oxidizing juice, while juicing both the leafy vegetables and as well as the crunchy fruits, and giving a good yield w very little pulp. Finally, i boiled down to purchase a vertical juicer. However, now the question was which vertical juicer to purchase? I have found Kuving juicer to be the highly marketed and hyped product. Nonetheless, it might be the best quality product that is out there but i can't say much since i have not used it myself. However, from the customers point of view, not many people can afford a Kuving juicer that costs over $400. Since i am new to juicing/smoothies and trying to make more healthy changes to my lifestyle, i did not want to spend $400 without fully getting involve in this type of diet and therefore wanted to try a machine which looked and functioned more like Kuving. Now once again, i had two options to choose a vertical juicer - SKG, SAVTM. Again, SKG was only $100 less than the Kuving, so i passed on it. The final option was SAVTM but i was skeptical since there were not that many reviews. Nevertheless, I bought this product since at that time there were only five 5 star reviews. This product was designed well and made well. Looked and worked like Kuving and less noisy than the SKG. I have not personally used either Kuving or SKG but whatever i am saying is from my research watching multiple videos, etc. Back to SAVTM, the quality is good, i had no difficulty with long green leafy vegetables, reverse button will solve all such issues. The feeder was big enough to throw in an whole apple or pear. It gave little pulp, without any foam or oxidizing the juice. The juice was delicious. For customers who are willing to adapt this type of change to their diet and looking to get a good machine without spending too much money, this is the machine to buy friends. FYI - I am not affiliated with this manufacturer or anybody else for that matter. This is a long but honest review to help other customers from making a decision without having to spend as much time as I did, and of course, money. Unless you know you must have A specific juicer, i don't think you need to spend over $200. You can buy this machine for under $200. I thinks it's a fantastic start for a starter. I have juiced twice so far, no issues w the noise, pulp, or long leafy vegetables getting stucked. I wish the strainer had a little depth so that it collects more juice. This juicer also have, i believe 2-5 year warranty, unlike Kuving which is 10 years. Hope that helps.I will update as I continue to use this juicer.09/10/2016So far, so good. I standby with my decision and with everything i commented above!I have read some Q&A's but from my personal experience (may be i have been lucky so far), i have thrown in anywhere from 2"x2" to 2"x6" pieces of carrots in the machine - no problem!Soft fruits tends to stick around longer therefore do not juice soft fruits like pear/peaches by itself, please be sure to add crunchy stuff before and after to expedite the juicing experience.thanksUpdate 10/27/2016After using the first machine, i end up purchasing another machine for my house in Texas. Only after three uses, it broke down. I have written to the seller a week ago but have not heard back from them, so i guess, this $300 is down the drain. I can't standby my statements I made earlier, may be putting another $100 more and getting Kuvings is a better option...Please see the pictures below....it broke down on its third use. I had juice a few carrots and i was juicing peeled oranges when it broke.11/28/2016PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK.since my last review, I used the juicer just today, using the additional (slicing) filter, guess what, now the plastic transparent covering that encases the unit, broke in half. I will add the pictures later. I'm so disappointed that it's not even worth wasting my time. I'm only doing this for you guys so that you don't lose your money.

Can't tell if it was bad or just bad luck
This juicer was such a complicated situation. The seller is great and helpful. They really did whatever they could to help. However, the juicer itself was a problem. The box was damaged when I got it, so I can't tell if it was defective from shipping or if the plastic material of the juicer was bad. It had scratches, but it busted open after a couple of uses. I'm not sure why it broke. As everyone stated, the instructions are very limited. The seller did send me a pdf version of an updated version of the instructions. They even sent me a video of how to assemble everything. But I think these things should come with the product already. Video, instructions etc. I shouldn't need to contact them for more information once I receive the item. The juicer did a decent job juicing stuff at first. But again, it only lasted two times. So I can't say it's a good juicer and I got a defective one, or if the quality is just not there. If I got a defective one, there's a chance anyone can get one as well. But thankfully Amazon is great, so I was able to return for full refun.
