Great Product Combo For The Money
Great combo product at a good price. The cleaner did a great job at removing built up dust, and prepared it for the lineament. We used it on a leather ottoman that was showing some wear. Looks great.

Cleaned built up sun screen spots on our leather sofa
After looking at many leather cleaning products on-line, I came across a web page for Chamberlain's Leather Milk that had information for all different types of leather cleaning/conditioning problems. Our leather sofa (about 20 years old) was getting spots on it from sunscreen that we had applied daily on our arms. Until we retired a couple years ago, my husband's spot on the couch was the only area that had some yellowing due to sunscreen. Since I was now using sunscreen on a daily basis, I started to notice yellow spots on my side of the couch from my arms. THAT really bugged me. In reading some information from Chamberlain's, I decided to purchased the #2 Cleaner and #1 Conditioner. I did as suggested and tried both products on an unobtrusive area. I chose the bottom of one of the seat cushions. I applied both the cleaner and conditioner in 2 separate areas there and all was good. I saw no difference in color. Yay! I tried out the cleaner on one of the spots on the base of a cushion and WOW, yellowish and dirty colored sunscreen came up easily on the pad. I kept switching to clean spots on the pad and soon the whole pad was dirty. I didn't want to oversaturate the area, so I stopped working on it and figured I would come back to it another day. After that initial cleaning I applied some conditioner. Before I used the pads, I sent Chamberlain's an e-mail to see how I should clean the pad. They said hand cleaning was fine; just make sure all the soap was out. They replied back within 1/2 hour. Awesome! I shared a couple more e-mails with them -- so delighted they were available if I needed help. Today I did some more cleaning. I re-cleaned the cushion base area I initially worked on. Not much came up on the bad. I think I'm happy with that spot. I cleaned another spot on the back of the couch. That came off pretty easy. With the backside of the cleaning pad I started on my husband's arm cushion. Wow. Lots of dirty stuff came off on the pad. I had to quit because the pad was too dirty to continue. The area is a bit tacky, from the softened sunscreen, so my husband will probably want to use a towel on that area until I get it entirely cleaned. After that, I can do spot cleaning as needed. I also bought a long-sleeved linen shirt to wear while I sit on the couch so I can avoid more spots. I don't think I can convince my husband to do the same. Oh well. At least I have the tools to clean it now. Now I'm looking forward to using the conditioner in my car. Thanks so much for an awesome product and customer service, Chamberlain's Leather Milk!!

Happy as a (leathery) clam!
It is clear that these products work. I purchased this set initially to condition a new leather chair that I bought on clearance from a local retailer. Since it was a clearance item, it was in a warehouse-type room and touched by multiple people. It is a stunning read leather chair with wooden arms and it was too good to pass up. Consequently, I wanted to clean it even though it was new. I tested the leather first (as they suggest) and both products were perfectly compatible. (As an aside, they have an AWESOME blog on their website about all things leather and how to care for it. The articles are interesting and written with humor which makes them fun to read.) Both products cleaned the chair well. I actually got more gunk off of the chair with the No.2 conditioner which I assume is partly due to the fact that the No.1 cleaner had loosened things up. The chair is incredibly supple and clean and makes me so glad I ordered these together.I've since gone on to clean and condition my belts (8 or so). A few belts were cracking near the hooking point. One belt in particular seemed all too happy to be conditioned and it is now more supple, moist, and a few of the cracks have disappeared. (Perhaps they weren't really cracks but just the beginning signs of where the leather wanted to crack... I don't know. Either way, it's a happier belt.)My most recent project has been to clean and condition the leather on my piano bench. I have a large vintage grand piano with a concert-style leather artist's bench. These benches alone sell for around $800-1200 new. Mine came with my instrument at purchase but it is an older bench. I'd guesstimate that it is about 50 or so years old (the piano itself dates to 1903!). It's leather wasn't the cleanest and it was plainly evident that the leather was drying out and nearing it's cracking point due to its use and age. The cleaner alone made the bench look nearly brand new again. After applying two coats of No.2 a few hours apart, the leather is quite supple and clearly much happier. I have no doubt that this conditioning helped add many years to the bench. The leather is darker, it is soft and supple, and some of the cracking has sealed/healed/abated... (however you want to put it). These two bottles paid for themselves 10x over on this project alone!Having a new baby on the way, I have a peace of mind that if there's ever spit-up on my brand new rocker, I have a very easy and effective way to immediately clean it right up before there's ever a problem. They are worth having for this peace of mind.I'll wrap this up since it's time to go do all my shoes and my leather coat....

Improved Feel Of Leather
The cleaner worked well on leather coats without changing the color. The conditioner softened the leather and made it more playable. Used on calf skin and leather jackets.

Best product on the market! Made in the USA!
Can’t go wrong with Chamberlain products. They all work well. I use them on all my leather goods. Amazon has got great prices on these products too. They can make leather darker. Would not recommend on white or ice colored leather.

Neither the cleaner nor the conditioner work especially well
Sounds like a good product to clean and condition leather. It is safe to use on deer skin, designer handbags (Bottega), briefcases, belts and billfolds but it really doesn't do a great job. The pads are bulky and waste the product which is not inexpensive. The cleaner removes very little in the way of dirt while the conditioner imparts a somewhat lifeless dull shine even after 2-3 coats. I had to use Skidmore's Leather Cream to really restore the leather and bring it back to life.
