2 Pcs Pet Pill Plunger Popper for Small Cats Dogs

So I have 2 cats, one of them is one of the worst cats I've ever had to deworm. She will fight me, bite me, spit up the pill if I try to give it to her. I've tried grinding them and putting it in her food... she will either lick around the pill stuff even when mixed in, or just sit there looking at me like "do you seriously think you can fool me?" I always come out of this situation, exhausted and feeling like, okay there's another vet visit. However, I finally got these, and oh my God! It worked. Sure, I still came out scratched up, she didn't spit it up and wasn't annoyed with me afterwards. So yeh, if you have a stubborn feisty cat that will go for the throat at one sniff of meds, this is for you. Note: this feisty cat is the most docile, quiet and kind cat any other time except when it's time to worm her.

Waist of money tablets dont fit in.

Fits tiny tablets really well, but not the larger ones as the soft part is too stiff. Does push the tablet out really well - you just need to make sure the soft part is fully pushed on, up to the line, this is difficult to do but worth the effort. Despite all this, my cat is too sneaky so it's back to old style fingers for us! I still reccomend though as, used properly, it's certainly worth a try and seems robust and good quality. With the added bonus of being a syringe too so is doubly useful.

These are a fab find! My cat needs lots of medication for life and it was a real struggle for both of us to get it down her. She is a really fussy eater so there was no way of hiding it in her food. I tried all the YouTube techniques and just got scratched and bit and the cat just ended up stressed. My partner saw a branded version of these online so I bought 2 packs of these,at a fraction of the price. I get them all loaded and lined up and I get all tablets down her in under a minute woth minimum fuss for us both. I haven't been attacked since I bought them! Will definitely buy more if needed and I recommend them to anyone struggling to get pills in their pet!

My elderly, grumpy, special needs cat sometimes needs 7 pills/day. Administering them by hand hasn't been terrible, but occasionally results in scratches or puncture wounds. I've used pill poppers in the past with other pets but usually found them more clunky than useful. In spite of the mixed reviews, this one worked surprisingly well. It's easy to get the pills far back enough in his throat that he can't gak them back up. My cat also seemed pretty surprised at how easy it was. It's usually an ordeal. I can imagine they may not work so well for larger pills, but I have no problem with medium or small ones...even the small ones I have to cut in half and are irregularly shaped. They all pop in quite easily, and I've had no problems ejecting them from the tip as some users are reporting. I also don't understand how the silicone tips could have popped off in pets' mouths as some reported, if they're property attached. They're so tight, I could barely get them on. The quality seems reasonable, and I wouldn't expect them to break easily if not misused. Considering how inexpensive this set is, I recommend giving them. I'll probably buy more just so I can load up all my cat's pills in one go and not have to reload every one.

Saves me from getting hurt by my dog.

I had a dispenser identical in looks to this, so when I list it, I thought this would be a suitable replacement. How wrong I was! First, the “soft tip” is rigid plastic (my old one had a soft rubberized tip). Putting the tip on the syringe barrel is an exercise in futility: it would not go to the seating ridge, no matter how I’d twist or push. Not fully seating the tip results with the plunger not being able to discharge the pill properly. As for the plunger, it binds in the barrel rather than sliding easily, requiring a good deal of force to work. Since I’ve already used (or tried to use) it to medicate my cat, I’m not returning it. I *am* going to go back to risking my fngers until I can find a good dispenser. Hopefully this review will help prevent someone from making the same mistake I did by purchasing it.

Really disappointing. These don’t work at all. I brought these to replace the one I have that a little worse for wear!! But nup, pathetic. Wouldn’t take it even if they were giving them away for free. These are designed to spit the pill into the back of the animals throat so the animal can swallow it easier. There was absolutely no power behind it to push a tablet anywhere. All I got was a distraught dog. Went back to my old one. Threw these ones out.
