I did a lot of research reading articles on all sorts of high quality chairs that fit petite people / women. This chair fits me great and it has a ton of adjustments, more than any other chair pretty much. It's very comfortable and supportive, even when I lose track of time and sit for hours. The chair was refurbished and it looked really great (almost new) except for a mild dirt or stain on the seat fabric. They gave me $20 to have it cleaned. Not sure who to take it to for that but at least they did something. All in all, I'm super happy with this chair.

I understand this is supposedly a reconditioned Steelcase chair, but the quality sure is not the same. The chair won't stay up. The plastic covers fall off. I am trying to return it but I can't get it apart to fit in the box. I have reached out to the vendor and Amazon to get help but no response.

I've been buying Steel Case Chairs for over 10 years for my business - I figured try and save money and go with a refurbished one. This chair lasted just over a month before the Cylinder broke on the chair and sunk completely - it will not hold weight at all. Customer service explained there is no warranty and its over 30 days resulting in a loss for my business. I Wish I just bought a branch Buyer beware please do not buy from this seller.

This chair came pre-assembled and while reconditioned, you would never know it. It is in great condition. My one disappointment. This chair was replacing an old Aeron chair. After much research, with the great reviews this chair had, even relative to the Aeron, I chose this chair. But it terms of comfort, I was somewhat disappointed. The seat was definitely firmer - less cushiony - than I would have preferred. In all other respects, I am very happy with this chair and its adjustability and support.

Chair arrived with stains on the seat and the cushion is absolutely flattened. The chair itself is good, but it really just seemed like they took a chair that had been in an office for 7 years and sold it as refurbished

The refurbished chair is in great shape and perfect working order. So comfortable for long periods at a desk - a great improvement over what I was sitting in. Glad to have found this chair at a reasonable price. There was a minor issue with the cylinder and chair height upon delivery, but seller quickly responded with a needed replacement part that took care of the problem.

The concave seat and backrest gave me lower back and shoulder pain for months. Even my office chair was more comfortable and it was flatter. I bought a regular chair with a cushioned seat instead and it hasn't given me any problems. Don't buy anything "ergonomic."

While the seat is very adjustable there is no padding at all in the seat. Becomes very uncomfortable when seated for long periods of time, to the point of a pinched nerve in my backside. If you need to sit for extended periods of time, you will need to purchase a seat cushion.
