Gluten-free, easy application, and a 5 year-old could remove it!
This is going to be our go-to brand of face paint forever! Highlights: Safe for Celiacs, applies really easily once activated with water and our 5 year-old was able to clean herself with a wet wash cloth. Stayed for 4+ hours even without setting products. Details: Needed a gluten-free product for our child with Celiac disease as we didn't want to risk cross-contamination. Did the research and this product came highly recommended even by those with sensitive skin issues. It came plastic sealed so we knew it was clean. No applicator or instructions (though those might be on the package) so we used a makeup sponge and paintbrush and followed the reviews and some YouTube videos to make sure we applied it right. It activates with water so we got it wet and then also wet the sponge or brush. Really easy to apply with the brush but the sponge could get streaky so we did two coats and gave it just a few minutes to dry in between. The color is so vibrant! We purchased Pale Blue to get the Vampirina character look and it was perfect. Used for a full face for multiple events and still have plenty left so even though it seemed pricier to get a single color, it was well worth it. The main reason I'll go back to this forever is how easy it was to remove. Gave my 5.5 year old a wet wash cloth and she got it done in two minutes. I only had to go around the hairline to get hidden parts but I was really impressed as we were dreading having to get baby oil or other products out to remove it. It stayed really well for the 4 or so hours we needed it each time. Chose not to use a setting spray or baby powder but would recommend it for people going to conventions who need it to stay longer. There was one incident where after washing her hands they didn't get completely dry and she touched her face so there were some fingerprints of missing paint but not a big deal. As someone who doesn't apply makeup and hasn't done full face paint before, I couldn't recommend this more highly.

Best oompa loompa costumes ever! Thanks to Snazaroo face paint.
Yes, I and a group of 5 other adults dressed as oompa loompas this year (2015) for halloween. Naturally we needed orange face paint. After reading a lot of reviews and watching a few face paint tutorials I decided to go with snazaroo and found this product to be sold very reasonably priced by amazon. It was very easy to use. Just add a little water and swirl it around with your finger until the paint is pliable. Then we finger painted our faces and neck which took maybe 5 minutes to completely cover someone's face. Very simple application. We could have used brushes but we were not doing anything delicate or artistic. Just gobs of orange all over the face! It worked great and looked great. We had compliments all night. I'd highly recommend it to anyone thinking of going as an oompa loompa and it's perfect for a group costume idea. I don't know how many applications would work for this 18ml sized product. The descriptions says it could do 50 to 100 full faces and I believe it. We did 6 and it hardly made a dent. This will last a long time. My wife who has fairly sensitive skin and breaks out in rash at the weirdest things was fine using this product. No one else experienced any allergic reaction problems. This washed off in one shower with minimal scrubbing and basic face soap. I was extremely worried about this as we flew out of the state the next day and didn't want to have to explain to TSA why our faces were orange. "Really bad spray on tan?" A warning on this point...this paint will get everywhere. Wash your hands after application really well or everything you touch will have smudges of orange or whatever color you choose to use if you finger paint. I had a few fingerprints smudged on my laptop and going through security at the airport made the TSA agents a little curious about it sending it through the scanner again and inspecting it by hand. Could be a coincidence.

GREAT FOR COSTUMES AND SENSITIVE SKIN
I used this to dress as Gamora for Halloween. I used Grass Green which is much too dark for Gamora, I would try pale green next time, I think it would be a better match. But that didn't bother me. I just thought it was difficult to apply, but maybe it just takes some getting used to. I used a spongy makeup applicator and dampened it first (if its too wet it washes off where you touch) then rubbed the makeup and applied. It went on very splotchy. I noticed I needed to dab it on for the most part because rubbing it on gave it a streaky look. I put on a first coat which looked streaky and waited for it to dry, then went back and applied a second coat using a dabbing method to fill in the spaces where you could see my skin. Close up it looked "patchy" but looked fine for photos and from further away. Again, maybe it takes practice to get used to using it. I've never used colored makeup like this before. I wasn't disappointed, I just didn't LOVE it. What i was most impressed with is that when its dry, its DRY. It doesn't stay wet or tacky on your face like face paint does. So it wasn't rubbing off onto everything. So it wasnt transferring color onto my husband and friends while we were taking pictures, or on my kids costumes while I was helping them get dressed and feeding them, trick or treating etc. That was important and appreciated. It also stayed all night till I decided to wash it off. Then it came off easy. I used a washcloth with soap to wash it off and it came off effortlessly. I think it may have ruined my washcloth though, we'll see when it comes out of the wash. So don't use a cloth you care about lol. I have sensitive skin and this didn't bother me at all. No breakouts, no redness, no itching, and I have reacted to face paint in the past so i was nervous about this. But zero problems with it. The only thing I noticed was after taking it off my skin felt really tight and dry, so I had to apply a LOT of moisturizer to my face to get rid of the tight feeling. All in all I'm happy with the purchase, I'd like to just figure out how to apply to give it a smoother look, but I felt like I used a lot and it looks like i barely touched the container, so I have PLENTY left to practice with. This will last a long time. If I need colored face paint again, I will be buying this brand.

Didn’t stain my skin at all!!
I’m not sure I’ll ever use a different body paint after this. I ordered the red paint and had it on for roughly 16hrs and I was so worried I was going to be pink for a week but I used my normal body was and it came off just fine. I was so happy and so surprised. I also got it all over a light colored shirt and after washing it there were no stains! I can’t promise this will be everyone’s outcome but it was mine and I couldn’t be happier. The first pic is the paint on my face and the second is 16 hrs later after a shower.

This stuff is GREAT! Great coverage and much better than oil based products!!
THIS STUFF WORKS GREAT! I got this to use for a demon costume and it did not disappoint! I bought two containers thinking I would need a lot to cover my face and hands and I literally only used 1/4 of it! I did have to do several layers to get a truly deep red color to completely cover my skin but this is totally worth the $$$! I liked the water activation rather than the oil based products, It didn't clog my pores and it came of soooo easily! I thought I would have been tinted a bit pink afterwards but It all came off in the shower! I used a setting spray over the top to help hold it on. I did have to be a bit careful because a little transfer is inevitable but thats fine, just be mindful if you're wearing something light colored it may transfer and possibly stain clothing. I chose to wear all black for this reason! Would recommend using an oil based cleanser (like DHC oil or micellar water at first) followed by a water based cleanser to get everything off. It also didn't stain my shower which i kind of expected and that was nice! I used a basic makeup sponge and some brushes to get it close to my eyes and around my nose. I did have to toss the sponges and brushes but i purposely bought cheap ones for this application that i could dispose of.

Awesome Paint, Paraben Ingredients
I bought this as part of a Halloween costume, with the intention to paint my face and neck. I glanced at the back of the container to see if it had instructions, but the text seems to be in size 6 font. I managed to make out something about diluting, but nothing about the proper amount of diluting or what was recommend as a dilution agent. I went to the Snazaroo website. The site is in need of a makeover. It is rather hard to navigate, not something I expected at all for a business website. I watched the video on the home page, where the painter said the paint was diluted with 1-2 drops of water. My application was easy enough. The paint has great coverage and the color is nice and rich (color in picture is accurate on my screen). The less water used, the thicker the coverage. I covered my face, neck and parts of my chest and there is still a lot of paint left in the container. It did somewhat rub off on contact, even after it was dry. Either way, I'd suggest not wearing anything that you do not want it to rub off on. It came off super easy and didn't leave any pigment stains. I was super pleased with it. So, if I liked it, why three stars? The ingredients include parabens, among other things. Had I known that this paint had parabens, I would never have purchased it. I really dislike that Amazon's listing didn't have the ingredients, and I didn't think about harmful ingredients at the time. I did end up using it, but if I had time to find an alternative this would have been sent back/trashed.

Perfect color for Flame Princess from Adventure Time for the Ochre.
This stuff is the bee’s knees. I purchased this for a Flame Princess cosplay, in the Ochre color, and I must say that it was absolutely perfect. This was my second attempt at a face paint for that character, with the first try ending up much more orange (think Cheeto) than the yellow-orange that I was going for. I’ve now tried two different orange face/body paints, and I would say that this one is definitely the better choice. I’ve attached a photo comparing our group cosplay, and the differences in color. This seems to be a wet-applied product, and it really needs generous amount of water before it becomes spreadable enough to use. I was dripping some water in at first, but then I quickly realized you basically need enough that it puddles inside the container. It’s easily spreadable after that, either with a sponge or fingers. I only used one coat, then did touch ups around my arms and clavicle. When I’ve used this, I do my face, entire arms, chest, and a little of my back, and there is still a good bit left. I probably used about 1/6 of it for the first application. Afterwards, I use a finishing spray to make sure it stayed on longer, so there wasn’t a lot of sweat off the makeup this time. Really, that seems to be a key thing to do with this. Since it’s water-based, it comes off more easily when you sweat. I wore this in September in Georgia, so you can definitely expect I tried out its ability to stay fresh in humid, hot circumstances. Despite that, it all didn’t come off in the shower. Some was still on my hands and fingernails, and my arm pits and the inner crease of my arm. And yes, I scrubbed with warm water and soap. PROS: -Easily spreadable with a (good) bit of water. -The PERFECT color for FP from Adventure Time. -I only used about 1/6 of it for the first application, so there is a good bit leftover. -I didn’t experience any dry patches with this makeup, and my skin tends to be sensitive, which was a huge plus. The other body paint I used dried out parts of my face, which hurt, as you can imagine. CONS: -Rubbed off on my clothes more easily than the other face paint I tried. -Comes off when you sweat, so you’ll need to do something to keep it on. (Baby powder, finishing spray, hairspray)

My Go-To Paint!
I bought red for the first time (I've been using multiple other colors for years, as I've cosplayed Homestuck and Steam Powered Giraffe each for half a decade or more) and couldn't be happier! I needed it for my hands for Alastor from Hazbin Hotel, and sealing with hairspray and then baby powder meant it didn't transfer at all except right in the beginning- I did get a slight streak on my jeans, but they were skinny jeans so I had to wiggle them on. That was my fault for not getting dressed first! As you can see, I had no problems touching my friend's white sweater or makeup, holding her hand, or touching the white She-Ra suits. Absolutely no transfer! While I'm here, the paints have all been the same level of security when sealed with an alcohol based spray (hairspray is cheap and easy!) and a translucent/baby powder. I got VERY faint transfer from the grey, only because my jacket was velvet and it rubbed my chin, but it can easily be buffed out. Application is super easy once you get a handle on it. Lighter colors can be a little thinner. I use a small, fairly dense beauty blender- not one of those cheaper wedges, they hold more water and make the application thinner and blotchy- and I run a tiny bit of water on the palette itself so the sponge doesnt soak in too much. I don't do multiple separate layers, I just kind of dab it over anywhere that seems thinner until it's even! For my hands, I literally just got the palette wet and finger painted until it was even. I do white over the grey to highlight under my eyes/above my brows/my nose/my chin and a grey eyeshadow to contour. Oil based makeup wipes are best for removal, paired with soap and water. It doesn't take too long and if you spend some time on it even the red doesn't noticeably stain, and I was free to change directly into Catra from She-Ra that same day with no stains! The paint on my hands and face lasted a good 6 hours running around KatsuCon, eating, hugging people, etc without needing any touch ups, and its lasted ~10 hour days in other costumes before. I hope this (really long) review was helpful!!

Satisfecha
