The Bodhi Dog Shampoo Brush is a simple but very effective grooming tool. The soft, flexible bristles help work shampoo into my dog’s coat and reach down to the skin without scratching. It rinses out easily, and the ergonomic handle feels comfortable in my hand. Bath time used to be a struggle, but this brush helps loosen dirt and hair while giving my dog a gentle massage. He actually seems to enjoy it. It’s also easy to clean after use.

I was recommended this product by "Embark" (dog DNA testing company - lol) based on my dog's breed mix. My pup is basically a hairball with legs, so I'm open to trying any product that can help tame the mane! I used this brush on her pre-bath just to see what it did; it didn't grab a lot of hair when dry, but she seemed to like the bristles on this brush (good for mini-massages or scratches). I then used this brush during her bath (a lengthy process) and this product made it SO much easier. It lathered up the shampoo/conditioner really well and helped distribute it through her hair. She is a 'double-coat' dog (similar fur to to huskies, golden retrievers, etc.) so getting the shampoo/conditioner distributed to her undercoat can be hit or miss, but this product helped with that so much. Made the process easier, faster, & more thorough. I did find that my hand slipped out of the grip a few times which was a little annoying - but not annoying enough to stop using it! I just slid it back on my hand like a slipper and continued. The brush took off quite a bit of hair (yay) and in a much smoother way than if I used hands only. Removing the wet hair from the brush was very easy - it just sort of peeled off in a clump/mat. Super easy to set aside (away from the drain!) I definitely recommend this product if you have a furball on legs - especially for those with an undercoat! I will be using this for every bath moving forward. Great recommendation from Embark! :)

Makes it very easy to work a lather during bath time. It does brush away loose fur but you will still need a second brushing with a more heavy duty brush (depending on the coat). I think it’s works well and does it job.

Great scrubbing brush for baths, good quality, easy to clean which is a major plus and it’s the perfect size, (for me) may be small for big hands. :)

Perfect to get the soap down to the skin of my long-haired dog. It's soft, good quality, fits my hand, and works well to get my dog clean.

Saw a random facebook dog groomer using this and it got my attention since my dog sheds like crazy and seemingly more in the bath. Long story long, I fed my dog HA and he had an itching reaction to it. Once I figured out the problem I immediately stopped the HA, but the itching persisted, so I tried an anti-itch mousse. Once I had hand applied it, I used this brush to massage it in and fix his hair. The dog (a "lab mix") really enjoyed it, and he's not really one for petting (the itching probably helped). At any rate he wasn't at all uncomfortable with me using this tool, and I liked how flexible it was, so it conformed with our contours. It didn't seem to pull sheddy hair for this application, but I do think it helped put the product on his skin where it will do the most good. Looking forward to using it for its intended purpose. Very pleased would purchase again. Also, I used to be a horse person, and I think this would make a great summer curry comb (not sure how long it would last with daily use over such a large surface area, but definitely worth a shot...and definitely for massaging the shampoo in in a bath kit...don't think it'd be good for winter coat, though).

The shampoo brush seems okay. It was gentle on my Siberian cat’s thick fur and helped during bath time. Nothing fancy, but it did the job without upsetting her.

This little brush is amazing! It gently scrubs through my dog’s fur and helps the shampoo lather up so much better than using my hands. It gets all the way down to the skin for a deep clean, and my dog actually seems to enjoy bath time now because it feels like a massage. It’s soft but still firm enough to get rid of loose hair, and it doesn’t irritate the skin at all. I also love how easy it is to hold — it doesn’t slip, even when my hands are wet and soapy. Cleanup is quick, and it dries fast too. If you’re looking for something that makes washing your dog quicker, cleaner, and way more enjoyable, this brush is a must-have! 🐶💦

Good grooming tool get right in

These fit my hands which is good. They’re large (my hands) and I find consumer products to be inconsistent. The blue was pretty much 2 for 1, and wouldn’t be my first choice, but you definitely cannot beat it. I don’t think the dog cares, either. The dog has short hair and she sheds easily. She’s a baby, sometimes, and randomly whines for no reason other than to get attention I think. She wants to be brushed if the cats get brushed. If they don’t, she cries. These are much better than the one I purchased at the groomer’s. The plastic is shorter and less stiff, which I’m sure we both appreciate, yet it still gets to the base of her coat. I use one on each hand when brushing, but I do the same to shampoo her. I hoped the hair would lift out of the bristles easily, but it doesn’t; however water just washes it right into the drain’s hair collector. Nice and easy to use and to clean up.
