I really loved the book Review: A word to define this series would be- Heartwarming. - This series- Heartstopper has all my heart. From writing, the graphics, the exploration and the relationships shared between the charactersπ«π«π« Unlike the initial books (first two), the third book hint on some cues for sensitive topics- eating disorders, anxiety, loneliness are some of the explored themes. This book explores it further. It is beautifully written, portrayed capturing the feelings involved for the person suffering and those around them. The author does a brilliant job in addressing these topics sensitively. Overall, it is a brilliant read and worth bingingπππππ

Book good, cover damaged
The binding is great, pages are fine. The cover plastic is a little damaged. But I guess that doesn't really matter.πΆβπ«οΈ

When I say this book was a big hug
No piece of fiction has tackled mental issues, love, LGBTQ+ stories the way Alice does. This will tug at your heart, and the fill you with hope.

Wholesome
This is by far the best Heartstopper book because it is not just a fluffy romance novel, it is much more than that and deals with actual problems like homophobia and mental illnesses. Charlie Spring suffers from eating disorder and OCD. Nick does his best to help Charlie but soon realises that romantic love doesn't cure mental illnesses. We can be there for the person but the person has to discover their own journey to recovery. Charlie learns that apart from a partner, we need other people too, like parents, siblings, friends and therapy, to recover and that recovery is always possible, and not a straightforward journey. Nick tries to come out to his dad and deal with his bully of a brother. We also see the background stories of the supporting characters like Tara and Darcy, and Charlie's sister Tori, a beach trip, the lead pair longing to see or talk to each other while one of them is on vacation with family, confessions of love and the support of friends and family. Totally a wholesome book only to make me eager to pick up volume 5 soon.
