Ignore the Price Ignore the bias to more $$$ = better this set is amazing and at the price... it really is a bargain
OK so first off I am not a professional woodworker and just do it for hobby. I will say this these things are great and I have had no issues with these and to be honest with any of the Yonico Bits I have purchased through Precision Bits. So I have used these on a few types of wood that to be honest is a bit uncommon; but I am working on a special project. I will just say this I have used it on Blood-wood and Purple-heart both are very hard woods. So did the bits hold up yes they did. On my first go at it with Purple Heart I had minimal burning (but to point out that was my fault along with Purple Heart is pretty easy to burn) On my second go at it once i adjusted the feed rate and speed on the router i had just a little burning (tiny pause is my feed rate); but once again my fault I don't blame the bits for it. The fit and cuts came out pretty much flawless (other than my first go at it; which as i said was my fault for going to slow and pausing a bit in a few spots if i remember correctly but i don't remember the reason i did) That said I will also say that the joints fit perfect and there was no splintering. I have attached a picture of what it did to purple heart and blood wood. This still has the burn marks on it; but once again mind you that was my fault as you can see on the other side there is only one spot where i slowed the feed to much. (It was my first time with routing Purple Heart). (Yes its also a rough out and have to cut some stock etc.) I have also used it on pine and red oak and results have been great. So I cannot attest to how long they will last and hold and edge but I mean come on I ran it through some of the hardest woods and got great results (other than the user error part). If they are like some of my other Yonico Bits I believe they will last for as long as I need them too. Some of the bits I have used by Yonico are on point with other major brands. I really believe they will beat the normal store brand bits hands down. As a whole are they as good as Freud bits... I cannot fully answer that question given I only have a few Freud bits. I will say this though of the bits i have that are the same from Yonico and Freud... I honestly don't see a difference in the cuts they make. I would highly recommend these for a hobbyist woodworker and at the same time I would even recommend it to a pro and I say that because of the price point. As a pro you really don't have much to lose giving these a shot to see how they compair and if you find them up to snuff well you found a bit / brand of bits that is 1/4 the cost. I honestly have faith in Precision Bits and their quality and would not merely avoid them because of the price point. They get the job done... Period. One last note NO I AM NOT EMPLOYED BY OR RECEIVE ANY COMPENSATION OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT FROM PRECISION BITS. I have just had no issue with Yonico (which are their bits) and have read on some woodworking sites to avoid them by people who have never used them SIMPLY based on the price of them. If you ask me that is bad advice. Just because you spent 200-300 on a set that does the same thing does not mean everyone else has to... and if you have never used them how can you say they are not good... simply based off you spent 200+ on yours and these are $50ish... BLUF these get the job done and that is what we are all looking for right?

Great product
I purchased these for a project I was making for my wife. I built an old fashion hall tree to match one that my wife's grandmother always had. I needed to build it with raised panels on the side to match my wife's grandmothers hall tree. These bits worked very well. They cut through the red oak wood with ease and made the project look wonderful.

Great Inexpensive Option for Raised Panel Door Bits
Very happy with these bits. Used them for the first time last weekend and they did a very nice job. The setup was a little tricky, I think this could be improved if Yonico had a bit set-up tool that came with these, but after some trial and error, I was able to produce very nice doors for a router cabinet I made. I understand that these are brand new so I know they are very sharp initially but for the price, if I get a couple dozen doors out of them, I will be happy. I've not seen anyone comment about the possibility of sharpening these but I have others I have sharpened so I would think these could be too. Pretty happy with them, the only thing that kept them from being a 5-star was the time it took me to set them up. I'm sure that was probably more me than anything.

Great bits
I am a beginning woodworker - Needed to make rail and stile raised panel doors. I saw that the bits were very expensive from "name-brand" companies, and Yonico was cheap - I ended up making for doors so far, and the bits have held up just fine. I now own two different Yonico sets and ordered a third. I have only made four doors, so I don't know if they will hold up over time just yet, but they performed perfectly for the small amount of work I had them do - Especially at their price point.

Perfect fit and very clean cut
I used these bits to make raised panel doors out of maple. I took care to make sure my router wasn't tilted on its rails which I think might be the source of the mis-cuts others have reported. The results were glass-smooth and the fit of the rails and stiles is perfect. Absolutely no burning and not even any feather edges to clean up. These are only the second time I have tried Yonico bits; previously I have used much more expensive bits from another manufacturer. Based on these results I'm sticking with Yonico.

Precision router bits and good style
Happy with the router bits precision. Nice style too. I would suggest getting the bits with 1/2 shank for harder woods since it needs to cut pretty deep. 1/4 inch may not take the load. First I bought the set with 3-inch panel raiser bit and later realized it is too wide for my router table. So, I had to return and get the set that has 2.5-inch panel bit. Made closet doors and very happy with the outcome. Smooth and precision cut, and pattern is nice.
