What can I say... they are rubber and the correct size. I could let you know how long they last but I will probably have something more important to do and you really don't care.

i am sure they are fine - i did not need them for the first time i changed the filterthe original o-ring still looks perfectit makes me wonder if the person who posted the message on the filter page was a plant to get people to pay way too much money for these o-rings

This works well for our whole house GE large water filter. It is good to have spares around. If the filter leaks, you won’t have water for the whole house unless you have a GE bypass water filter unit. I also do not use grease when I change out my o-rings. It messy and seems to stretch when I apply it to them.

It does it's job. What else is there to say write about an O-ring?

The O-ring does the job it is intended to do, which is perfect.

one of the gaskets is the right one for my filter and the other is not, but the price is low enough that I can toss the extra one and still cost less than other products.

Appears to be of good quality. Just FYI, they were too big for my whole house well filter housing. Not sure what housing they will fit on, but not a standard well filter housing.

Works as expected.
