Extremely fun game
Great game. My sons favorite Christmas present and I even agree that it's pretty cool. You play all the different sports and he really enjoys it.

... of things are badly nerfed compared to previous installments like Beijing and London such as the Beach Volleyball
The game is alright but tons of things are badly nerfed compared to previous installments like Beijing and London such as the Beach Volleyball, 100m Sprint, 100m Freestyle, Javelin Throw, and Table Tennis. At least the some events are better than ones from previous games like Archery and Equestrian. Almost every character in the game is badly nerfed with Power Type characters (especially Bowser) getting MASSIVE speed decreases, Skill Type characters (Tails especially) getting HUGE Strength Decreases, and Speed Characters getting GIGANTIC Skill Decreases (such as Sonic).

Great condition.
As advertised, the disc was in excellent condition. You made my son a very happy boy! I would but from this provider again.

Can't believe I bought this game
Not much fun in this game. The controls are completely dumbed down, most events are just mashing two buttons, no motion control. The Dream events are gone and now they have "Duel" events, which are basically the same event with random scoring. Unlike the London installment, there is no "meta game" you can play. And there seem to be a lot fewer events than in previous installments. I haven't gone back to look, but maybe it is just that the controls are so unimaginative. And the AI opponents are terrible. They have a tournament mode where you go through quarter finals, semi finals, and finals, and you get gold pretty much every time, the first time you play through on every event. On the plus side, it looks pretty, but the focus seems more on collecting stamps and outfits and headgear and the liken, and less on actually playing the games. My 10 year ol son seems to like it and is still playing a week later, but I can barely bring myself to play with him - it seems like we mastered everything in the first hour or so and it is super boring now. For the price they are charging, totally not worth it. I'd much rather play any of the previous installments than this one.

Good game but can get repetitious
My 6 yr old son and I really enjoyed this game (me probably a little more so) though with the Olympics over his interest has waned a bit. The games can get a bit repetitious if you keep playing them over and over.

TONS OF FUN
Great game and just in time for the Rio Olympics. We watch the real deal and then have our own Olympics at home.

13 Year Old Mario Olympics Fan VERY Disappointed!
A big NO. The other Mario Olympic Games were MUCH better. My 13 year old was excited to get this but played it a few times and I haven't seen it since. Only thing he was interested in was the Rugby (which is why I gave it 2 stars though that's a very generous since it was $60 for one okay game). Very repetitive of former Mario Olympics with WAY fewer games or options. I DO NOT recommend!! Trust me, if you really want it wait for it to go in the sale/clearance bin (it will!!).

It's okay, but there are a few features missing ...
It's okay, but there are a few features missing:1. When I play boxing, I don't see any option to bribe my way to victory.2. The water in this game is too clean, and this really affects the realism of the game.Perhaps in a future update they can fix this.
