Celestron 71336 Nature DX 12x56 Binocular (Green)

Good for bird watching. Not heavy at all. Also the clarity is perfect. One can also track the bird once locked in without issues. It’s a good value for money.

Magnification and focus is very good. I dont know weather it is suitable for proffessional bird watchers. But good for general people who likes to watch birds

The picture quality is very good.

It was delivered in early december. I found it in good packaging by Amazon for a delicate item like this. Since delivery I have not used it very extensively. But from how much I have used it, I can say this is a good binocular for the price at which I bought it (12k dot, upto +1.5k is considerable). It has all the typical features of porro-prism binocular and all features are working well (mainly optical adjustment features). Quality of the image seen through the bins is good enough for the price. The bins are enough lightweight and built quality is good. In my opinion, this 8×42 bins can quite easily replace 10×50 roof-prism bins of sub 5k price range. Those who are considering to purchase this in India, please remember to not let your bins get much hit or shock as this can misalign or damage the inner optical parts which will inturn greatly impair your viewing experience and you might not be able to properly avail the warranty. So better be safe than sorry.

I bought this binoculars in Feb 2022 for birding. The picture quality, range is great and this is my go to pair over another brand I used to treasure. That's not the only reason i 'd recommend. Roof prisims are hard to fix, especially in india, a great after sales is i portant. Mine started developing a double vision during a field trip in april, I reached out to local stores for help but since it's a roof prism, this was not possible. I found A & S creations to be the folks covering for warranty for celestron products after speaking to celestrons' US support channel. I was not too optimistic but reached out and to my pleasant surprise, I was asked to ship my product for a replacement immediately. I got a brand new one within 2 weeks. Later this year in November 2022 I had a focussing issue with my binoculars during another field trip and i again reached out to service folks at A & S creations. And again they have replaced my binoculars with a brand new one since it's under warranty. The image I have attached is from this second replacement to show you that's its brand new !! Absolutely no hassles, no back and forths, just an email to the service email-id with the Amazon receipts. An employee, Ms. Mahi, reached out to me personally giving me details, kept me informed about timelines and got the product replaced both times !! I am super pleasantly surprised at the kind of service being offered by A & S creations and celestron for choosing this partner locally for their service. Great product and even greater after sales support !

Optics are very good and good ergonomics

Of course NEVER like a TELESCOPE and with this ZOOM you cannot see MARS surface BUT I guess it can be an excellent one for BIRD WATCHING and TIGER even better Bought this to see MARS as telescope did not make sense And it was like a fire ball of TT Ball size through this in OCT 2020 when MARS was close Excellent product and feels sturdy and good to hold and not too heavy just right weight.

I have recently used these binoculars on the safari trips in Kenya and they are excellent! Great focus and clarity. Highly recommend!
