This is an amazing product! I will ALWAYS use it to cleanse my skin at night. It is so gentle, thorough, and comforting. Massage some on and feel the self - care. Your skin will thank you! It smooths away the day's accumulated, makeup, dirt, grime and other pollutants that we all encounter day to day. Over time it clears away collections of sebum on your skin (blackheads) and leaves your skin fresher softening and comforting. Perfect for double cleansing away the day, sunscreen, smog, oils and makeup! A little goes a long way and once wet hands are added, the emulsification removes even the toughest mascara formulas. Great for removing makeup but pricey.

I rarely stay loyal to skincare products for years because I’m always testing and trying new things, but DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is one of the very few products that has remained a permanent part of my routine. I’ve repurchased this multiple times over the years, and every time I try another cleansing oil, I eventually come back to this one because the performance is just consistently good. The first thing that stands out is how effective it is at removing makeup. I wear waterproof mascara, eyeliner, sunscreen, and long-wear foundation regularly, and this breaks everything down incredibly fast without needing to aggressively rub my skin. I usually apply one pump onto dry hands and massage it onto my dry face for about 30 seconds. You can literally feel the makeup dissolving almost immediately, especially around the eye area where stubborn makeup usually takes extra effort to remove. What I really appreciate is that it removes heavy makeup in one application. I don’t have to go back in multiple times or use separate eye makeup removers anymore. Even waterproof mascara that normally leaves residue around the lashes comes off cleanly. That alone saves me so much time at night when I’m exhausted and just want my skincare routine done quickly. Whenever I see it on sale, I stock up because it’s one of those products I genuinely never want to run out of. Overall, this is one of the most reliable cleansing oils I’ve used. It removes makeup quickly, rinses clean without residue, feels gentle on the skin, and lasts a long time.
