Like for any tool you need to know it's limits and apply the cords to proper use cases. We use them on a hand dolly for securing boxes and the cords worked well on very light and fragile, and on very heavy loads. Flat profile helps against cutting into the cardboard and looks neat when wrapped around handles for storage.[Update] cords aged and started fraying after 2 years of light use. Not bad, roughly average from my experience.

Not perfect but good enough and much better than other straps you can get anyway.The only issue I has was the cap that covers one end of the strap hook slips off a little too easily. But it's not terrible.

After having had my share of inexpensive round bungee cords, I decided to spend a little more for these flat cords. The flat cord and the attached hook seem to be engineered or manufactured differently and they lie flat when stretched across a smooth surface, yielding a streamlined profile. No regrets.

I've been using these bungee cords for years to keep raccoons out of my garbage cans. Nothing else works as well as these against nocturnal pests.

One of the 2 straps did not even have a hook, though the picture shows 4 hooks on 2 straps.It is only lightly covered in polyester strands for strength.

I really like how it’s adjustable with nice, big hooks. I’m happy with the purchase, enough to recommend.

I purchased these because of the adjustable feature. However after one year and a total of 5 to 10 uses the cord has lost all elasticity, and it looks shrunk and rotten. Now it's going to some landfill, and I need to buy more. Do not recommend!
