Ceramic 22 Ounce Round Teapot (Matte Black)

Exactly what I was looking for! The new style "round" Bee House teapots ARE round whereas this one is a delightful slightly elongated shape. Very aesthetically pleasing. I had one for years, same color and shape, and broke it. A round pot would not do, I loved this shape too much. So glad I could get the same color too - very subtle glaze and elegant. Came quickly and was packaged well. It is just the right size for generous cups of tea in large mugs.

This would be the perfect teapot except for the metal lid. And I don't use the infuser.The metal lid is tinny and it prevents you from heating up the pot in the microwave. I found an old ceramic lid that fits. I would recommend the pot be offered with a choice of a ceramic lid.The body is exactly the right shape - perfect 3 mug size, perfect relationship between the height of the spout and the top of the pot. It pours without any spilling. It's the best teapot I have ever owned.
