took some looking and a few purchases and am happy to say these briefs are perfect and exactly what I want. I don't shop in stores much these days, so getting briefs was problematic as I couldn't see the fabric in person. The last ones I purchased from Amazon were Bali and they are good; but as I stated in a previous review, there was so much black dye it turned the water in our washing machine black so I would not buy again. But I wear them now and they are fine. But I like these better and no dye run at all - I washed them in the sink first. I like control briefs and these have the control, stretch and comfort that I was looking for. They are perfect and I am buying more. I purchased a xxl.

I needed some shapewear following my total abdominal hysterectomy. So I tried on several types of shapewear at the mall and came away very frustrated. I decided to buy these online out of desperation. Let me say that I never wear shapewear because I've never found any that do the job without being uncomfortable. These have the best coverage in the front and the back. The crotch is wider than the three different types of shapewear that remain unworn in my dresser. I don't know why designers think your crotch would be a size 2 when your hips and belly require a size 18! LOL. Even some of the other Bali shapewear aren't as good a fit. These are the perfect crotch width for full coverage and they also have a good rise. The rise is just right for my petite frame with a larger lower abdomen. These are also fairly easy to put on and take off. They are surprisingly comfortable. I have always avoided wearing shapewear in the past because it's always so uncomfortable and hard to get into. Shapewear also tends to push my belly up so that my upper belly pooches out even more. Soooo frustrating that I end up just taking it off--no sense trading one problem for another and being uncomfortable too! These actually hold my stomach in without just pushing everything out somewhere else. I loved my first set of two so much that I have purchase four additional pairs. I hope this review helps other petite yet veloptuous ladies out their to make the most of their curves, in comfort.

Run large according to label size. Ordered 1X and they were labeled M. I thought it was a vendor error, so I reordered. The 2nd order was labeled M also. They fit perfectly, so I kept both orders. Perfect weight and I wear them daily so NO JIGGLES!

I bought these, and actually have bought more, but still would like to give 3.5 stars because the top is too narrow to stay up if needed. I bought this style because I have a small inguinal hernia which I want to give a little support to, and this was the only style that is made to support that area also. Most support panties are only supporting mid stomach are, not inguinal area. I find that these are built too long from top to bottom, but otherwise they are comfy & non-constricting in leg openings. If they were just constructed just a little shorter so that the waist band actually fit at the waist; or if the waist band were a little wider, so that they would lie more flat, it would be a more perfect fit. Even better if they fit right below waist. Another small complaint-no cotton crotch, so panty liners won't stick; but they do launder well. In the meantime, I did order more, as they seem to be the only style that suits my current needs.

These panties are so comfortable. Feel like you are not wearing anything. A bit pricey but well worth it.
