Beautiful and well constructed fountain pen
This Parker Sonnet is a beautiful fountain pen. The cap is so beautiful. The pen writes so well and smooth. The gold, fine nib produces fine lines and characters. The weight of the pen is perfect. It is not too heavy and/or too light. When posted, the pen is well balance. The pen comes with two ink tubes and an ink converter. The color of the pen is so beautiful...Besides, I bought the pen for 140 USD, 100 USD off from the regular price. I am very satisfied with the Parker Sonnet.

A Surprisingly Nice Writer
Parkers have a great, classic look to them, and this pen is no exception. What surprised me, though, was the ease with which it wrote. Not only does it maintain a nice wet nib when using a cartridge, but it writes very smoothly. I'm quite impressed. Parker knows what they're doing when it comes to fountain pens.

A Great Quality Pen!
My Parker Sonnet Silver Mistral Fountain pen with Fine nib arrived this evening on-time and even included a converter surprisingly and two ink cartridges. The 18k gold nib is the best writing nib I've ever used. Even reverse writing works. Super happy with my purchase. Weighs 36g with converter. I'll attach a photo that includes my Esterbrook Estie King of the Night (26g) and Lamy Safari Vista (18g).

well crafted pen
Just received by Sonnet Parker pen. Many years ago, I received as a gift the set of roller pen and mechanical pencil and thought about purchasing the fountain men. It is beautifully crafted, but it is rather light, I read in the description that it was chiseled silver (?), so I thought it would be heavier. I have my doubts about the silver. The nib is supposed to be 18k gold, hence the expensive price. It comes with 2 black ink cartridge and refillable one, Which the capacity is very small. That is an issue. I will not use it and will refill the plastic ones. Overall, the quality seems very good, nib works fine, and the ink flows smoothly. I think it is a bit overprice but will still keep.

Beautiful and writes very smoothly
Gold nib is the way to go. Very much a sophisticated, business-like, yet feminine pen. Highly recommend!

It’s ok
Not enough value for money. Doesn’t write very smooth

Fine nib is more like a Bold nib
Nice pen, well made, but the fine nib is more like a bold nib. The 18k gold is smooth but I prefer the Pilot metropolitan fine nibs to actually write with, and that's a shame considering were talking a $290 difference in price.Maybe the one I got was marked incorrectly, it writes beautifully for a bold nib pen, but that's not what I bought or wanted...Since I bought this I also got a Platinum fine nib and it's the perfect fountain pen. It doesn't dry out and writes beautifully. The search is over.

So Good I Bought a Second One
I am very impressed with this pen to the point a bought a second one in the white variant. The fine nib flows very well with just a touch of flex and feedback. The fine write just like a japanese medium with no skipping or hard starting if you use them regularly. This pen will dry if left for too long without using though. I noticed this after letting one of these pens sit for a week. My platinum pens seal up well and can sit for a month and still write without hard starting. Another note is that this pen being metal it is slightly heavier than other plastic based pens such as pilot or platinum. The grip section is also on the smaller side but I do not have an issue with the size. I would definitely recommend this pen just because both fine 18k nibs are amongst the best writers I own at any price point. Parker really delivers value on this pen even more so than my duofold centennial which is larger and writes well but the sonnet is a better writer for me.
