Great price. Easy to assemble, comes apart and can be hauled in the back of my SUV. I bought a bumper guard so I don't scratch the paint. We're planning to buy a second one so we both have one. Battery life is as expected and it charges fast. It's very quiet and comfortable to ride. I used it on the boardwalk at the beach and it was great. It allowed me to keep up with my family and I wasn't exhausted and sore like I would've been without it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought this for my adopted mother and this little thing is outstanding. Easy to assemble/disassemble and transport. Gets around great on any surface and turns very well. Sturdy and well balanced and charging the battery is a breeze.

This was such a game changer for my Mom. She was so sad after having a stroke that affected her mobility. Not having the ability to engage in physical activity, like grocery shopping or taking a stroll in the neighborhood, really took a toll on her. I convinced her to try this little mobility scooter. It arrived 2 days later and we finally saw some joy in Mom’s eyes. She practiced scooting around in the house first, all the while smiling and giggling. She was so impressed with how easy it was to maneuver. She loved the horn and the headlights too! The same day the scooter arrived, my mother went scooting into a doctor’s appointment. Several people remarked that they’d like to have one too. This scooter absolutely changed my mother’s outlook on life. Good price point, quick delivery, easy assembly, long lasting battery charge, and it fit in the back of a small SUV without affecting the amount of seating, Get this for a loved one! You’ll be happy you did!

These are pretty good scooters for the price. This is our second one. Some things to be aware of. Our first Vive scooter lasted about two and a half years. We had another brand that lasted five, but that scooter currently costs more than twice as much as the Vive. The plastic edges chip easily and the seat cover snaps don’t hold. The electric system is cheap. The buttons for the horn and light become dislodged easily. The battery indicator started dying about 18 months in. Nevertheless, the scooter travels well, moves steadily, has survived various plane flights, fits in our car, and we got our money’s worth out of it. That’s why we got another one.

I mostly purchased this scooter for traveling. We vacation frequently in the Florida Keys and I have a difficult time getting around the Miami airport. I have used it about 3 times now. I have had absolutely no problem taking it on Sun Country Airlines. I have not tried other airlines. The airline usually puts a tag on it at the gate. I drive it right up to the door of the airplane and leave it there while staff take it to store it below the airplane. When we get to our destination, staff retrieve it for me and it's waiting in the same area that I dropped it off. There is no charge for transporting the scooter, but the airline would like a few days' notice that you are bringing it with you. I did research videos online regarding taking a mobility scooter on airplanes so there is information out there for you. Typically, they will ask you what the weight, height, and width of the scooter is and what type of battery. Regarding rental cars, just make sure to have some extra room in back of vehicle for transport. We stick to renting SUVs. It is easy for two people to lift it into the vehicle without taking it apart. I have had no problems with the battery. Although I bring the charging cable with me (for the week), I have never had to recharge it while on vacation. This makes it extremely easy for me using it for long distances which I have trouble walking. Also, very easy to operate. Definitely a good buy for me. I hope this review is helpful for those wishing to take it on flights.

We bought this scooter as a gift for my brother. who lives in NYC, while we live in Florida. He has been gradually losing mobility for the past several years to the point where now, at not quite age 65, he can’t safely navigate out onto the street with his rollater walker in his be neighborhood. He was excited about the prospect of new mobility, so when the scooter came with a brake defect—it was so disappointing!!! (Hence the four stars on my original rating.) However, my sister-in-law contacted the company and supplied a video of the problem. Vive arranged for them to return the original scooter and then shipped a new one fairly quickly. The new one arrived yesterday. They charged it up overnight and my brother is thrilled!!! They’ve been exploring all morning. He finally has his independence back! For his privacy, I blocked out his face in the photo, but if you could see it, his expression is so happy!!! Makes a big sister feel wonderful!! The scooter is easy-to-use, maneuverable, compact, sturdy, and pretty fast, too!Update: ZERO STARS!!! The second day my brother took out the replacement scooter, all excited and happy, it suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason!!! The battery was fully charged, the weather was clear, the pavement was level, but my brother and SIL were STRANDED two blocks from their apartment! My 60-something SIL had to PUSH my brother on the scooter all the way back to their building!!! We don’t want another replacement — just a refund. Amazon has assured me that they’ll refund the price if Vive doesn’t, and I’ve already ordered the Pride Go-Go S-74 as a substitute for my brother. (I bought my other brother this model 4 years ago and it’s still going strong.)

Absolutely love this scooter, perfect size love the tires and the performance life of the battery, not to mention that ruby red color is gorgeous, so glad I made this purchase thank you Vive and Amazon and speedy delivery win win

I needed a motor scooter to help with short trips to amusement parks and for outings that involve a lot of walking. This particular scooter fulfills that requirement, as it runs well and offers a battery life of about 12 hours, give or take. However, I do find the seat to be quite uncomfortable, and there’s limited legroom. Despite these drawbacks, it overall meets my needs for those short excursions.
