Great oil
perfect oil for my m2c. despite what others say in the reviews, it is bmw ll-01 certified. probably the best oil on the market for modern turbo Bmw's and you can never go wrong with castrol

What I use on a B58 Engine for the past 3 years.
Package is perfect in terms of affordability and function. I've been using this on my 2017 BMW 440i with the B58 engine for the past 3 years and had zero issues.

European spec oil at an excellent price.
This is the only oil I use in my 2011 BMW 128i. It’s one of the oils specified for BMW’s. I can’t speak to the specifics of this product only that I buy it here because Amazon has the lowest price. I know it’s high quality oil for high performance European engines.

which confirms that the oil is chemically still very good if you want to push it another 2-3k miles
I have been using these with a 98 Integra Type R for the past year and a half. The car is mainly daily driven with no track time. The ITR is known for burning oil especially if you do a lot of spirited driving and engage the higher rpm. The ITR burns the least amount of oil with the German Castrol, compared to Amsoil, Mobile 1 synth, and Castrol Edge dino (oils I have used in the past). I have done 2 oil changes with the German Castrol at about 6000 miles for each (roughly 8-9 months period). Oil analysis were done with Blackstone Lab for each of the oil change to verify residue/contents, which confirms that the oil is chemically still very good if you want to push it another 2-3k miles. Oil viscosity is also the highest compared to other oils I have used prior, with Mobil 1 being the thinnest. Overall, it's a bit more expensive than other brands, but it works pretty well for my application and I have been happy with it.

2018 BMW 330i xdrive
I am an auto detailer and take care of all my vehicles. I changed this oil after 9k miles. I think this is a better product than what my bmw dealer uses. It is to spec according to the owners manual, and my car drives much smoother and quieter. I have 60k miles on my 2018. Let’s see if I can get another 10k with this oil. I live in Ohio where the climate changes daily.

The best for BMW's from recent years
I have two BMW's, a 2015 328i (75,000 miles) and a 2018 740e PHEV (90,000 miles), both with the 2.0 liter turbo. Sticker under the hood for both recommends "0w30". When I took them to the BMW dealer, I would be given the latest BMW 0w20 formulation, and I would have to add oil between changes. Sometimes within 3-4000 miles with the 2015, and usually near time for the next change on the 2018. Using this Castrol and doing it myself with a quality Mann filter, both cars go the full interval (8000 mi for the 2015, 10000 miles for the 2018) without needing to add oil. The 2015 stays halfway between "add" and "full", and the 2018 stays snug against "full" for the entire interval. The cars seem to like it. Mostly interstate usage for both.

This is the stuff
I use this in my 2015 BMW X5M. It is good oil and well suited for my car. I just wish it didn't cost so much? Oil is manufactured in Belgium, maybe that is why it is costly?
