Great rayon kaftan. Very comfortable to wear, not sheer or clingy (like polyester can be) and the colors don't run when washing in cold water with a gentle detergent, gentle cycle. (The colors will run if you soak them for a period of time). Mine shrunk about 1 1/2" on each side, 1 1/2" on sleeves and 1" in length (there are similar ones in plus sizes too). A quick toss in the dryer gets the wrinkles out (wet or dry) and a hang dry works just as well. Another plus is after you wash and dry it, the material softens and the side seams flatten a little. Some have arm holes that are slightly larger, so you have to wear a matching bra, bathing suit or tank top underneath. ALSO, check that the sleeve lengths are the same if that bothers you.

I was lookig for something for lounging after a shower in warm weather; every time I saw this I was drawn to the color and pattern. And there were so many other patterns/colors. But I was concerned about the fabric. Would it be too skimpy? Would it wash up into a wrinkled mess? I decided to give one a try. Well, NEITHER! While light, the fabric is not see through and has a silky hand. Of course I managed to get some oil on it the first time I wore it so into the wash it went (gentle cycle in the machine with a few other things...but from now on it will go into a mesh bag to minimize stress on the construction). I shook out the wrinkles and hung it on a rod through the sleeves across two doors. The next morning it was not quite but nearly as smooth as when it came out of the package. If there was any shrinkage it might have been a slight bit lengthwise but I doubt it. Another reviewer said it was too small for a size 16...well it fit me fine as a size 20. So I will buy another one!!

Wow! This is silky soft. I have been reading a lot lately about Middle Eastern and Indian cultures and was fascinated by the idea of a Kaftan. I realize this is not authentic, but oh my goodness it is so comfortable. I love the soft, flowing material. I can't see myself wearing it out and about, but lounging on the couch, in the garden, on the patio....absolutely. would have given it five stars, but it is a bit big. I realize flowing is the idea, but I normally wear xl and found that I'd like it to be just a little narrower. Length is great.

This lightweight caftan is breathable and generously sized. I wear it everywhere during the summer- not just to the pool or beach. The style is heavy to be oversized and I find it looks good even though it is large. I wear a women’s 8 and I’m 5’6”. It is big on me but does not look ridiculously oversized. Decent quality in line with the pricing. Easy to throw on with flip flops and look put together.

This has no real sleeves. Its like a gunny sack sewed along the sides, leaving flaps from the shoulder to the thigh. And in them flaps they cut an opening for the arms to go thru. Im cutting the center in front and adding elastic and make a trench overlay.

This is my favorite Kaftan! It’s so comfortable! Get it!

It was perfect for the event I needed it for. The print was cool and the colors were what I expected them to be. It’s light weight and flowing. The only thing is that it had a scent, not too bad but I needed to wash it before I wore it.

I really wanted to love this coverup, but it arrived with a shoulder/arm seam already torn open. It didn't look like the seam was stitched closed properly, and overall the stitching looked cheap and flimsy. I didn't try it on for fear of making the loose seam rip open even more, but the material was a very cheap, slithery polyester that I hate. I ordered the C-Red color, and in the pic you can see two faint horizontal dark lines running across at the waist and knees. In person these sections were much darker and noticeable, they honestly looked like an error with the dye. The red color was vibrant and nice, and it definitely looked very voluminous, on the plus side. I probably would have just reinforced the seam ends myself if this was nicer quality material and didn't have the dark lines, but those were deal-breakers for me. I have found nicer coverups for the same price on Amazon, so I don't think the low price justifies the quality.

Ein wirklich wunderbarer Kaftan!! Ich habe ihn gestern gleich getragen und war sehr amused! Das Material ist sehr angenehm, die Farben und das Muster sehr schön. Länge und Weite optimal. Für jemand, der wie ich gerne lange, weite und luftige Kleider liebt eine absolute Kaufempfehlung!!! Für den Sommer oder zuhause ideal! Diesmal auch sehr gut verpackt - zusammengelegt und dann GEROLLT! Somit kommt etwas endlich nicht total verdrückt an!!

Malgré un retard de livraison, je suis contente de ma commande. J'ai déjà plusieurs de ces robes car pour rester chez soi, c'est l'idéal. Confortables et tissu facile à l'entretien. C'est souvent ce que je porte quand je suis chez moi.

Me encanta. Me queda perfecto (llevo la talla 3x americana), cuelga de maravilla y es ligero y vaporoso.

Nice smooth fabric that drapes nicely. Looks great as is or belted. Suitable for lounging, as a beach cover or to wear as a dress! Wash and hang dry immediately when finished to avoid wrinkling. If you forget, a quick toss in the dryer with a steam setting, a hand steamer or iron will remove any wrinkles. This is a really versatile piece. Complete it with a belt and blazer and it can make for a beautiful, comfortable and professional wardrobe staple that can transition from work to evening.
