Awesome. Fast. Gets the job done quickly.
Yes, it is a blade. Yes, I'm still a bit concerned and careful when I use it... BUT, IT ACTUALLY WORKS! I'm extremely impressed. Toss your Ped Egg in the trash; they're a huge waste of money. I got one and thought sandpaper would work better. Callus stones can work, but are just too slow. The file on this item also works quite well, but that's not what I bought it for. The blade has a maximum depth, so it will not take too much skin at once. You do not need to use a lot of pressure, and will want to start parallel with the skin surface. I do NOT recommend taking a shower before using this product. It does have trouble getting a slice started on moist skin, so when you get through the callus, you usually do know when to start being careful. It stops cutting easily with living most skin. If you shower, you will likely apply too much pressure to the wet skin surface to get the cut started and end up with a bloody mess. On a dry surface, with gentle parallel pressure, it almost automatically stops cutting on its own when you need to stop. The blade does not work well on concave curves, so getting just below your toes will just not happen; you will never get the cut started. However, cuts will start very easily on convex dry surfaces, so you need to be more cautious when using it on the ball of your foot. This is specifically what I got it for. Just don't start using it aimlessly without watching or become complacent. The only bad thing is that the blade edge is hidden at the bottom of the metal square piece, and the metal piece seems fairly large with the square at 1"x1" not including the taper to the handle. This design really can't be avoided. It is what it is. This is the best that I've found out on the market. Once you get the hang of it, get a feel for where the blade is located, and get over your fear, you will never turn back. Highly recommended!

Loved this callus remover. Soaked my feet in warm water, used a foot scrub and dried thoroughly. Whilst the skin was warm, used the blade to remove hard skin from the ball of my foot and heel area. What a difference it made. I now feel as though I'm walking on air and a lot cheaper than the usual ยฃ45 session with the Chriopodist. Very easy to use, don't dig into the foot, removes skin easily as long as the skin is soft from washing. Blade is sharp, so be very careful. Recommended ๐
