Hello, when this product is wrapped around the entire book, it makes the the book closed. This product can either be wrapped around the entire book, or wrapped around the cover.

Can you remove the band?

hello, sorry that the band of this pen holder cannot be removed. It is properly stitched on the back piece of the pen holder, and not easy to remove unless you just simply cut it off.
