This set comes beautifully packaged in a very giftable box that would be perfect for a father's day gift or for any other special occasion. In the box you get three beard care items and a small comb. The beard Hero and the 8am splash both have a very mild barely there citrus scent that smells really good. This beard oil will softens and tame your beard so that it doesn't have that crazy flying out look to it. One pump is more than enough to use on a full beard and rubbing that one pump into your palms and than applying it helps disperse the oil better. The beard wash is cleans well. I didn't care for the smell of the "Cruise Control" beard styling balm when it was in the container but with how little of it that needs to be used, it wasn't an issue once applied. As to the comb it is metal and nice and sturdy but for the price tag, I would have expected it to come with some kind of cover. Overall I really liked the serum and the splash but I could have done without the styling balm. The best beard care money could buy

Great comb but no scent and not worth how expensive it is.

I want to get two things out of the way right now: 1. These products are amazing. 2. The only reason to buy this set is if you need the beard comb (which is great), because at current prices, the set ($109) is pricier than buying the three individual products ($95). Even though the price for the set is not a better value than just buying the individual products, it's worth learning a little more about each of the included products. All the products have the same scent, and it's fantastic. This sounds cheesy, but I like the smell so much that sometimes when I'm using the 8am Splash in the shower in the morning, I'll take a moment to just enjoy how it smells before cleaning my face with it. I've spent some time trying to analyze what scent they're going for, and the best thing I can come up with is like a sugary grapefruit. It's a little sharp and citrusy, but it's also quite sweet. That may not sound like a very masculine scent, but somehow it manages to pull all those things together. Seriously, these products smell so good. The 8am Splash comes out in a foamy lather, and it feels light and refreshing. It doesn't quite give me the same punch of alertness in the morning as my strong tea tree and peppermint shampoo, but it definitely helps get the day started right. The Beard Hero serum adds some sheen and softness to my beard. I usually let my beard get to a short to medium length before trimming it, but I can imagine that the impact of this serum would only be greater for someone with a medium to long beard. It definitely provides some conditioning. At moments when my beard is a bit on the longer side, I can use the comb once I've applied the serum to style my beard or at least keep it pretty manageable. The Cruise Control styling balm reminds me of what I've seen called grooming clays before. It offers a medium hold without completely eliminating softness. It definitely doesn't cause any crispiness as some products can. Even when my beard is short, I use it pretty much every day on my hair and it does wonders to keep my relatively short hair from looking unruly or unkempt. So, I love these three products, plain and simple, and I've also been using a facial moisturizer from this company. These are some of the best grooming products for men I've had the pleasure of using. I recommend them without reservation, but I would certainly suggest that you check the pricing on the individual products before deciding to buy this set. I've used each of these items on and off for a week hoping to get better results. After 7 days of use, I can only say that this is, at best, an average beard product at a way-above-average price. I've broken down the three products below based on my experience, but overall, the expectations set by the price tag are not met. It's an average set of products, and I would not spend that much money to give it as a gift to even my best of friends. Frankly, there are many other more effective beard wash/oil/balm sets on the market for far less money. This is my experience with the individual products: Beard Splash: This feels like nothing more than a hair mousse, and a watered-down version at that. It takes several pumps to make my beard feel like it's even partially covered, and the end-result is a lather so thin, it doesn't feel like it's done anything. The good part is there's no residue and it washes out immediately, but it feels very cheap. Beard Hero: The beard serum oil is the best part of the package. It takes several pumps, but it's the only part that feels like it's useful. It goes right into my whiskers and feels like it's plumping them up. I like this the best, but I also feel that using this daily on my beard, I'll be going through this in 2, or maybe 3 weeks at the most. Cruise Control: The beard styling balm falls short on any expectations that I have of a beard balm. It really doesn’t hold the whiskers in place at all, but what's worse, if there is even a drop of moisture on my beard (e.g., immediately after applying the Beard Hero product above) the beard balm starts to bead up on my beard, giving it a white appearance that I then need to attempt to comb out. Even after running a comb through, I can see little white beads all along my beard hair. It's better when the beard hair is completely dry, but that's not how I get ready in the morning, so this gets very little use as I simply don't have the time to wait until my beard completely lacks moisture. There is also an included comb, and I should point out that the little metal comb is pretty awesome. 5 stars for the comb! I’m not trying to hate on the product, but it’s just average, and for the price tag, I expected far more.

Great products. Delivered as expected

Bei kosmetischen Produkten ist natürlich viel vom jeweiligen Geschmack abhängig. Ich finde das Produkt super. Die Verpackung ist ansprechend; dafür aber leider nicht umweltfreundlich.

I’ve used CG before in the past. Always found their products to be excellent. The beard hero smells good enough to eat, although I wouldn’t advise it. 8am splash, I love the fact it comes out in a foam and found it worked really well when washing my beard. Cruise Control always gives my beard a great hold for the day, and you can mix it with 2/3 pumps of the beard hero if you want to give your beard a bit more of a shine than a matt finish. Out of personal preference, I have no use for the little comb, I always find it pulls on my beard whenever I’ve tried to use it.

Beard wash is great in the morning have to say the beard hero is great although it is thick I think it’s better than normal beard oil doesn’t feel greasy and you can’t overdue how much you use the beard balm is great it feels a bit sticky in your hands at first but it’s really good at keeping your beard in control since using the balm I’ve thrown away my beard wax as it holds all day and my beard feels so soft if your unsure trust me you won’t turn back
