Ich habe mit diesem Gewindedichtfaden meine komplette Hausinstallation gemacht. Das heißt Heizungsanlage mit Hydrobox und Speicher, Heizkörper und Trinkwasser eingedichtet. Schätzungsweise 100 Gewinde (1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/4). Es gab keinerlei Undichtigkeit. Die Verarbeitungsgeschwindigkeit ist echt hoch und der Faden lässt sich gut auf das Gewinde auflegen und wickeln. Insgesamt habe ich 3 Dosen verbraucht. Ich muss sagen so eine Dose ist schon sehr ergiebig. Ich finde dieses System beteutend besser als Teflonband und Hanf. Teflonband fand ich schon immer bescheiden zum eindichten weil es gerne verrutscht und man schnell zu viel draufwickelt. Hanf ist meiner Meinung nach der beste Dichtstoff weil es noch quellen kann. Die Verarbeitungsdauer ist aber höher und mich hat dieses gematschte mit dem Neofermit schon immer genervt. Fazit: Eine gute alternative zu Hanf und Teflonband mit guten Dichteigenschaften und hoher Verarbeitungsgeschwindigkeit.

Arrived in great condition with a solid expiration date (2029). They’ve also improved the packaging since my last purchase. They now have it designed so that the lid stays attached all the times. (You just flip open the smaller lid when you need it and flip it closed when done.) Nice improvement! Having worked on my home plumbing for several years using mostly Teflon tape which was always a roll of the dice, I can honestly say that this stuff was a huge game changer. Compounds did the job well for me too when needed, but they required curing time before I could turn the water back on. This product works instantly so there's no waiting needed. And it’s super easy to apply. Since switching to this product, sealing my plumbing fittings has never been so simple. I would highly recommend it!

A German buddy recommended this to me for my plumbing projects and my goodness how well it works. It's not cheap but it lasts, is easy to use, and functional. Amazing, you'd think this would have a more mainstay spot in American plumbing. You will never use teflon tape again on anything.
