I've used this to transfer files from my phone, laptop etc to free up some storage. No issues with transferring data, the USB cable is included but has an end specific to the hard drive so make sure you don't lose it. I've moved a lot of uni work onto here and there's still plenty of space left! Not super robust, but the outer casing is a thin metal. I'd buy this again.

Please note this storage comes in NTFS format, so to use in the UK you may need to format to exFat or Fat32. For storage only it appears to be ok, but not fir anything else. You do get 498gb but the casing is not the sturdiest and you only get a short connecting lead with it.

The product was delivered ok but on opening the package found a small dent in the aluminium product, as if been dropped previously on it's edge. Not a good start. Drive starts up ok and is pretty silent in operation. Almost full capacity when started which is standard for these drives. So far no further issues found. Pretty.good for the price and generally looks ok.

Good value and I use it to back up two pcs

The portable drive broke after 3 weeks. It's not recognised by the computer (even after trying multiple usb ports & multiple attachment cables). This product is either poor quality or I just received a defective unit.It looks like a couple of others are complaining about the same problem around the same time. So probably a defective batch.Either way, the seller refused a refund unless you ship the product back to them. (They don't accept video proof). Nice haha

It’s fine to hold my pics from my pc and downloaded songs from my cd’s, no issues, simple and easy, but it won’t recognise my music on my car radio when attached to my USB port

Absolutely great for gamers like me who need the extra storage for game updates or for files for school or office work
