What is this actually used for? it clearly states not for tmj or grinding teeth at night in the warning section of the pamphlet

It specifically states:  DenTek Comfort-Fit Dental Guard is the night guard solution that protects your teeth from nighttime teeth grinding. It does say not to use it if you have pain from grinding which would indicate a more serious problem.

After you peel it out of the tray, does it consist of one piece of flexible plastic? Or is the flexible part laminated to a rigid part?

There is a white plastic tray for fitting it the first time.  Once fitted, you remove the mouth guard and it consists of a soft silicon part with your tooth impressions embedded in it, and a tougher translucent foundation that keeps you from biting through the guard.  Those two "layers" need to stay together.  You can toss the white plastic tray.

Can someone tell me the contact number for helping these fit? I must have messed up. Mine fell out on floor while sleeping.

I'm researching a lot of night guards to try to find the right one. Some of them say to suck up toward your teeth to get a tight fit. But they don't have a forming tray. Could it be formed without the tray, like others? Just a thought.
