have a heavy printer on a stand with outlet directly behind it. Added an expansion outlet for printer and other items. Printer cable and another are very thick with very deep plug ends. So my stand would be a good 5-6" or so from the wall. Always something falling behind it and the only way to get it back was to move the printer (80#) and the stand (very heavy). AAAAGGGHHHH!I chose this over flat outlets because I'd still have the depth of the thick cord and plug in. This item has a 'flatter" plug than most. And I can set the strip on printer stand and plug everything in. It is close enough to the wall I don't have the worry of anything dropping behind it. And I love that it has surge protection and USB ports, very handy. Eliminates a few items I'd had plugged in and I don't have to charge phones and tablet one at a time because their plugs take up most of outlet space. Being long makes it easier to plug in odd sizes, I can still use the other plugs. And it feels very solid - I'm happy with it.The only thing that would make it perfect, is to make this so it plugs in with the cord running UP instead of down. Every place I have space trouble needs the cord going UP not down.

A couple of months after I purchcased this and started using it, one of the outlets and one of the USB ports stopped working. Not a good sign.

We have purchased three of these. They are amazing! It plugs directly into an outlet to charge. It has two cables attached to it so you don’t have to worry about losing them. One cable is a iPhone lightning pin and the other one has USBC and micro USB. Charges devices quickly! My daughter took one to Miami for a 3 day trip. She fully charged it before she left. Her and her two friends used it all weekend and the day they flew home, it STILL had power! She plugged in to fully charge just in case their flight was delayed. It’s compact enough to fit in a backpack, pocketbook, fanny pack etc. it is a little heavy but with the power it packs it’s worth it! I was hospitalized a few times and brought mine with me and didn’t have to bring any cables or outlet brick. There are built in prongs on it to plug it in. It takes a while to charge but it packs slot of power!

I have had this product for 4 years now and have not had any issues with it. I usually have about 5 devices plugged into at 1 time, and it functions perfectly and safely!

Survived a lightening strike. Our house was hit by lightening. We had some electrical damage and lost some electronics elsewhere in the house. But we did not lose anything plugged into this! I am very happy with it.I just ordered a new one March 2025 but it did not have usbc slots as shown in the photo.
