Oxford Picture Dictionary Paperback – 21 January 2009

Let me begin with the price - since generally such books cost astronomical figures - I was pleasantly shocked to get such an excellent reference book under rs 500!!! Since it's a publication by Oxford one doesn't have to worry about the quality of the product - be it the paper or the printing - it's simply the best. If you have elementary to intermediate knowledge of English vocabulary and want to take it to the next level, this book should be your default choice.What's special: the internet in general and the Wikipedia in particular have made almost all of the reference books in print terribly outdated and too superficial but not this one! This book is astonishingly relevant even if you have access to all kind of digital content! This book is definitely the investment worth making!!!

An amazing book for primary kids. My kid is 6.5 yr old and she loves to read the book and know more. She even searches for couple of words through index page.Going through the book not only builds vocabulary but general awareness too. A good stepping stone for using a dictionary middle school.

I ordered it for my five year old daughter. She loves this book very much and she can easily follow the index and find a word. It is nicely designed. The papers and print could be a bit higher quality but it is okay for the current price.

Good dictionary for growing children. Colorful pictures and easy to understand. Paper quality is fair.
