The cover goes on easy and stays on. it stretches just enough to cover all, and does not stretch out when used. The color works well with my mid-century vibe.

Although my chair is well within the specified measurements, I about killed myself trying to get this thing on. Sweating, panting, cussing, the whole nine. If I started by putting it over the back of the chair, it wouldn’t even come close to stretching over the armrests. Even if it had, though, there wouldn’t be enough fabric to pull all the way down and cover the chair, much less to have enough slack to tuck into the seat cracks. If I started on the front with the armrests covered, it was downright laughable to try to pull it over the back of the chair. This slipcover looked me in the eye and gave me the finger. This slipcover insulted my mother. As I write this, the knowledge that this slipcover is still in my house is killing my vibe. I hate this slipcover & I’m sending it back

The media could not be loaded. Liked color. My complaint is that they were obviously returned items that were not checked before shipping them to someone else. One cover was missing the foam pieces to keep tucked in. The other package someone had trouble getting on their chair, ripped it and sent it back damaged. Also without the foam. The bags were already open when I received them, so that was the tip off to check them. Very disappointed.Reordered. New set came in quickly. Tip to get on. Stand behind chair. Find the single seam. That is for back of chair. Pull the elastic over the back about 4 inches. Hold in place by pressing your body against fabric on chair. Lean over and ease the rest over the front catching the arms. Now you can move to cover chair. It will stretch and you only need one person.The fabric is soft. Glad I was able to reorder and get undamaged.

I bought these Ethan Allen barrel chairs in Craigslist five years ago with the intent of recovering them myself. I bought both chairs for less than what a single cover cost! They are awesome chairs, but uh….a wee bit dated in the upholstery. I tried making covers and let’s just say even with my sewing talent, I couldn’t make it work. I wasn’t sure if these would work since my chairs are slightly different than example shown in product photo. Mine have a separate seat cushion and back pillow.Yes, you’ll wrangle these on, but they are plenty stretchy and I felt I could really pull on them without fear of ripping.I’m going to use the seat cushion cover to cover the back pillow…in this first photo I just have it draped over to see if there was enough fabric. The second photo I reworked the cushion cover to be snug on the pillow and the chair cover was plenty to cover the seat cushion.The elastic around the bottom is tight enough I didn’t have to anything but tuck the original fabric up and the cover keeps it secure.Once the cover was on, I used the foam pieces that came with the package to push down into the crevices to really secure the cover.I think these make a world of difference and you as you can see, you can go bold statement chair or you can go neutral.Be advised that taupe is not accurately depicted in product photo. I returned the taupe color which I had considered, but it was too orangey. Just know the taupe is not tan or beige. It’s a mustardy/orange.

I was worried this was like going to fit because my chair isn't the exact shape of this cover but it looks beautiful!
