I am very pleased with this pair of simple torches, and disagree with those who said that the plastic feels flimsy. These are not as robust as torches made of e.g. aluminium, but are quite robust enough for my intended use. The packaging says that 30 hours of usage can be expected (from the 2 AA batteries - which are included), with a 35 metre range (which I haven't tested) and 25 lumens of brightness. So not a very bright light - but quite enough to light up a bedroom at night, or the recesses of a large cupboard. (I've put one of the pair of torches in a bedside drawer, and the other in a drawer in the kitchen.) An inexpensive and helpful addition to the home!

Relatively basic product, small but easy to operate and a decent amount of light.

Good quality functional bright torches which have a adequate amount of power and are very easy to use. Nice design and size and so handy and useful. Highly recommend and will buy again when needed.

Very bright beam, extremely handy for power outages, and as a handy light at night in hotels or rentals when we don’t know where the light switches are!

First of all...Great Price! Second the torches are robust and small enough to place almost anywhere. One is in the glove compartment of my car for emergencies; second is in a safe place in house. These torches give a very good amount of light and is way bright enough for most things. Switch is firm yet easy to switch from off to on. They are plastic but once again robust and durable (not waterproof). Remember to remove the yellow/orange sticker from off the base of the bulb where the AA battery connects to before using. These are a wise investment and come with decent batteries also.

Good product but clearly 'second hand' as arrived with one torch illuminated with battery protector stuck to outside of torch and the other appearing not working but actually with batteries inserted upside down.Not best pleased as selected this maker to assure safety! Still good value, and much too much hassle to send back as does appear working and safe. Would prefer Amazon not sell returned electricals to its customers.
