The thickness is too small to absorb all the sounds. I used it to cover the noise of slamming doors, but it’s too thin.

I got these to double up on a problem we were having with a door banger in our home. She can not open or close any door without yanking it open before the knob is completely turned open and can't close it by turning the knob to be quiet, or without banging it into the door jam. Her room and bathroom are one room down the tiled hall from our bedroom. All day and night she will go out of her room, into her bathroom, out of her bathroom, into her room no less than (not kidding, have counted them daily) 15 - 20 every day and night. We purchased some items for the door handle mechanisms but still had some noise because we have hollow core doors. These strips are so thin and "squishy" they do not impede the closing of the door in any way! They adhere to the door strongly, but can easily be moved if need be. Once I had them placed on the doors needed, woolah!!! There was absolutely no more noise! She bangs to her hearts content and can't make any noise to disturb the rest of the household. I have placed them on all the door casings to give us a quiet home and I LOVE it, them!!

Really good for stopping the noise of doors banging shut! I put them on all my doors and now I have no problem with grandkids banging doors shut! They last a long time and don't fall off. Recommend them for any doors that bang shut with the wind.

The product was exactly what was promised in the description. I was pleasantly surprised that the bumps' textual feels firm which means they will not go out of shape easily given that they would be feeling the full impact from the doors. The adhesiveness of the product is strong and so far, it sticks well on doors and painted door frames. For me, they did help to reduce the noise for two of our doors. It could not do much for the third door as that door is too misaligned to close properly on the door frame. Therefore, you have to identify the different contact points on the doors in order to make good use of this product.

They actually do work! Install was so easy even an 8 year old could install these! Just make sure to clean the area first otherwise the tabs won’t stick for long on the dust.Depending on how hollow or noisy your door is you’ll need to use more tabs, I live in an apartment with cheap hollow interior doors so I ended up needing 7 tabs for each door.That’s fine with me though cuz the noise is gone and now I don’t feel overstimulated
