Thee published description of the Power Adaptor indicated that it was compatible with the Canon VIXIA HF R80 Camcorder. IT WAS NOT.

I am all about updated technology, but I have to record students for school projects frequently and it is so much easier to get the videos off my old Canon Vixia (I can use my phone for other things while recording) and the quality is fantastic. I went to plug it in the other day and it would only work with the battery. I like plugging it in so I'm sure if the battery dies I can keep recording. I was so happy to find a replacement cord! It works great for charging and for using. Yay!
