Can get it from walmart for half price from this seller ..also.it is very hard for younger children to use

Great and Not So Great
I ordered two of these kids' fishing poles for my two grandsons. They arrived on time and we were pleased to see that they were ready to pop in the pond--lots of fishing line, working reels and snazzy red floaters. All was well for 15 minutes when one of the poles simply locked up and would not dispense fishing line. No amount of tinkering could fix the problem so then we were stuck with convincing a two year old that it was a good idea to share his pole with his four year old brother. That did not go so well either.

Thrilled my Grandson
This rod was purchased as a gift for our little grandson. He was thrilled to receive it. The whole family loves to go fishing so this will give him some good hours of practice before he gets the real thing to do some serious fishing. The competition will be "on" between him and his older brother. LOL!

Perfect size for a first fishing pole
Although it could probably break pretty easily, we find these beginner poles to be great for our little ones first rod. We gifted both our children one at age 2, to be used only under supervision of course. I like the little toy fish to practice casting with and how lightweight the pole is.
