My dogs vet recommended this product
My dog got a pretty nasty anal gland infection recently. It’s the first time he’s ever had an issue like that and is on a good diet. The vet said that can happen to dogs that don’t get enough fiber in their diet. Especially little dogs like I have. She recommended this product and said that it works great and dogs seem to like it. I basically ordered some when I was in the waiting room and as soon as I got it I started giving it to my dog. He already has a somewhat sensitive stomach and the antibiotics were giving runny stools. I was worried this stuff in his food would make it worse but it actually helped a lot. Of course with probiotics after he was done taking his antibiotics. This product has been amazing. He hasn’t had any issues with his anal glands or wanting to scoot at all since I’ve been feeding him this. But he’s also on a probiotic regiment too. Like I said he’s got a notoriously sensitive stomach but since starting this fiber product and probiotics he can pretty much eat anything without having diarrhea. Which I’m really thankful for since he would have diarrhea on our fully carpeted apartment. It’s really frustrating to have to clean up after that all the time if he accidentally got ahold of some tiny piece of food I accidentally dropped while cooking for example or if a family member didn’t listen to me when I told them no table scraps. Now I don’t have to worry about it. It’s surprising how little powder you need to use. I thought I’d go through a container pretty quickly but since my dog is 14lbs it’s probably going to last a long time. And since this is safe for dogs and cats I can also give it to my cat too if he ever needs it. My dog loves the flavor of it too. Before when we would feed him just plain kibble he wouldn’t really eat his food in one sitting and would kind of much on it throughout the day. But since he loves how this stuff tastes and with it being a powder that coats his kibble he can’t eat around the kibble and ends up actually eating his food in one go. His tummy seems a lot happier and his stool is more firm without it being too hard. I also noticed it smells a lot less stinky. Which I’m not sure if it’s this product or the probiotics or maybe both. Either way both of those together really seem to help his tummy sensitivity. I really recommend this product. And glad his vet recommended it to me.

Love it and so does my dog
Works amazingly! My dog had to be taken to the vet for expressions about every 2 months, he'd scoot, leave behind that smell and that was the only thing helping since he couldn't express himself and I'm not sure why. I started him on the powder I noticed changes within almost 2 weeks! No more scooting, no more smells, I put it on top of his dinner and he enjoys the taste - now he isn't picky so I'm not sure how other dogs would take to it. I think pricewise and the amount of product received is decent. (65 lbs)

Life saver for our dog!
This. Stuff. Is. A. Life. Saver. My dog has anal gland issues where his anal glands will leak & smell really bad. We purchased this & it IMMEDIATELY worked. We use it every morning with him and have zero issues. This is our third bottle & he tolerates it well and has no leaking / smelly bum, lol! It’s the best!

Helped nicely with Cockapoo anal gland problems
I used this product because I have an 11 year old male cockapoo dog that has occasional anal gland problems that I understand is common of this mixed breed. He would occasional rub his butt on the carpet, but actually had a bigger and worse problem of, on more than an occasion, drop a small to medium round bit of stool, especially when he slept or rested. This happened because his anal glands were not fully relieved and NOT because he was being "bad" or loosing his house training. Note I never scolded him for this. The only thing that would relieve the glands and stop this problem, at least for a short while, would be to physically express the glands by a trained professional like the vet or groomer. Suffice to say, I tried this product in hopes it would somehow solve the problem of the small round stool coming out at night when he slept and / or rested. To my delight and my dog's comfort, I believe this has worked pretty well. I give him a slightly larger amount then what's recommended in his daily food. It makes his stools firmer, causing a little harder push during bowel movements, which I think helps express the anal glands more naturally. I also changed (by advice from a local small pet- store owner) to a medium-priced, slightly higher-fiber dog food (Osogood) which helps as well. The change in food AND the Glandex additive has lessened the trips to the vet and/or groomer for physically relieving his anal glands greatly. The last time he went to the vet or groomer for this problem was early November 2015 and I'm writing this on March 1 2016. It has not "cured" the problem fully but greatly helps. I hope this helps anyone with a dog with a similar problem of seeing a small turd of stool in the morning after the dog has slept and/or rested, because I know the stress this can cause to both human and canine. Good luck.

Made my dog better.
I have a 7 year old German Shepard who became septic because of infected anul glands. It took 6 months for him to get over the infection with several visits to the vet. Started using this and making my own food and my dog has not had a problem for past 2 years. This stuff works incredible!

Vets recommend it !! Try it.
This product can protect your dog from lots of anal issues. It’s easy to just sprinkle onto their good and mix it in. Then give the bowl of food to them. Works very well. It was highly recommended by my Veterinarian.

Causes loose stools
I have not been using this as instructed due to it causing increased loose stools in my dog. I realize this is fiber, but was hoping for better bulk.

Works Great!
My vet recommended this product for my dog that was having issues I have to mix it in with his food in order to get him to eat it but it is working, I have not had to take my little boy in for anal issues since we started using it. Before we used it, he had impacted glands several times that we had to take him into the vet to get taken care of, now no issues.
